I reckon it's Snape, not realising it's Harry. But wtf? Why did Sirius bolt and abandon him? Not very Gryffindor of him, is it?
Eyelids closing... if you hadn't mentioned it I would never have thought it. But now that you have, I assume you have some plot reason for needing Harry's eyes shut... I shall ponder as I await an update.

- Aww, indeed! Great chapter - I knew it was Snape, but forgot he couldn't even see Harry - duh me! So, yes, Snape didn't just accidentally mistake Harry for someone else - he hit him by complete coincidence.
As for a Defence instructor - well, most fics feature a female love interest for Snape (so cliche), but how about doing something different, how about go for a male, slightly older than Snape, Slytherin, but instead of someone Snape detests, how about someone that remembers him from school and they actually get along - that's different. (I'm definitely NOT suggesting slash - I'm not a fan of that at all!) A 'Lucius' contemporary, if you will, but not on the side of the Dark. Someone who didn't stick out too much at school, but came into his own as he matured - a good role model for Severus. Sort of a Slytherin Arthur Weasley, but not necessarily with as many of the kiddies.
I haven't thought what you could 'do' with him yet, but I'm sure you could figure something out.
I've never read anything like this so consider it unique - what you think?
Anyway - great job, looking forward to more.

Oh dear, I'm really concerned about that stray egg ending up in the purple potion - that can't be good. Silly Harry for not admitting the gaffe, that could potentially be fatal for someone!

Great choice for a DADA teacher - I'm looking forward to getting to know him better and what you have planned for his character.
Poor Harry, that might nave been a tad terrifying - but Professor Ferro is quite correct - no-one even raised their wands to defend him - tut, tut! Let's hope he can whip these lazy warriors into shape.

Ah, that bloody egg did come in to play - I'm so pleased to see it hasn't been a fatal issue... well, so far. No doubt Snape might not be done with Harry, even though he's been reduced to unconsciouness, and it might still end up fatal for Harry ;)
Draco - hiding on the desk - funny. And sucking up to Ferro - I have a feeling that Ferro does know Lucius even though he said he didn't; good on him, damping down the brat's audacious need to brag and swagger about over his name. and now he's been brought to shame accidentally by Snape in class too - whoo hoo! No wonder he took to Harry with his fists - let's say frustration, shall we? *snigger*

Yes, you cought on about the egg, but I did enjoy doing all those things to Draco - I think I have a strange yearning to just be really mean to him, he'll just have to deal with it!
