Totally love all types of Harry Potter stories; crossovers, mentor, guardian, apprentice, creature fics, romance, slash, deaging stories, manipulative Albus Dumbledore.

Trying to write my own story on FanFiction.Net, but haven't yet descided if I've managed or will do justice to the wonderful characters that were all allowed to play with even if we can't own them....sigh!

    Absolutely brilliant! I especially loved the interaction between Albus and Severus both during the rescue and afterwards.

    Though I would definitely love it if you did write a longer story that included background information about how Severus, Harry and Albus as a family came into existence...who there mother/s were...(sigh) well I can hope, can't I!

    I've always thought that hogwarts was an extremely sentient castle, with a great deal of awareness. Especially when you consider just who helped contruct the castle & the sheer amount of adolsecence magic that has been done within her walls since she was built. For this reason I've always thought that the castle has her favorites & that both Severus and Harry were two of them.

    Totally wicked the the very brief confrontation between Draco & Harry...to see just who could get the best of each other. I can't also wait to find out just what the ghost James, hopes to achieve by taking Albus down memory-lane? Will Severus consider allowing little Harry to meet one of his parents friends Remus Lupin? Who will Severus allow to be little Harry's playmates...and will Severus teach his son...or might he allow Remus to tutor Harry?

Based on the challenge Changing the Past by shigeki11: Severus and Harry have survived the final battle, however on the very night as Hogwarts sleep a Dark Lord from the past resurfaces and Hogwarts is destroyed. They journey to the past and adopt the toddler Tom Riddle in order to save the future. How much can they really change when some things seem destined to happen. Set partially during World War II where conditions of war exist; implied rape, implied torture though not of main characters (nothing graphic). Bad Dumbledore. Implied Dumbledore/Grindelwald.

    Wow....truly, utterely awesome story beginning...which certainly had me on the edge of my seat. I barely had time to write this review because I'm so eager to press the "next" button to find out what will happen next!

    It so easy to see Dumbledore being such a manipulative, twisted git and him an Grindelwald being the root cause of all of the wizarding worlds problems, even for
    Tom Riddle becoming Voldemort. And for what did they do this, greed
    and power...for there both certainly as mad as hatters! But how did they manage to twist all of Harry's supposed friends into playing along with them? Just how long had they truly been Harry's friends, or were those meetings so contrived by Dumbledore's manipulations as well.

    Its amazing that know matter what changes Severus has made in the past, somethings just seem to have to happen. Though I do wonder just how many witches, wizards and non-magicals have been born or saved that never had a change in the previous version of time.

    Dumbledore really is insidious in how he moves, plots and manipulates all of those innocent, naive children at Hogwarts, like he tried with Damien, Daniel and later with Tommy. How many others has he manipulated, forced into playing along with his twisted views. Honestly, Hogwarts would be much better of without the likes of Albus too-many-names Dumbledore, how on earth he can have been sorted into Gryffindor as a student, I seriously doubt! Hmm, if Salazar Slytherin has/had a portrait of himself at Hogwarts, but what about the other 3 founders...and if Salazar, supposedly left Hogwarts, because of his disagreement with the other 3 then why would his portrait have remained at Hogwarts, in the Slytherin common room, hmm?

    I can hardly wait to find out just what both Severus, and Salazar will have to say to there errant little heir Tommy, but call me Tom? Absolutely loved the battle with the intruders into Willow Castle, how the snakes battled, and the untimely arrival of Severus, John (and Salazar) upon the basilisk from Hogwarts....totally wicked!!

    truth about his friends but also the
    way that nefarious plans of Al & Gill
    are revealed!

    That finally Harry gets to show that
    he's much more than just a brave
    Gryffindor...that he has elements of all houses within him. But just what will Harry do about his betrayers...because in the past they won't have betrayed him yet?

    I absolutely love childfics, even more so when Harry is preHogwarts
    age. With what Severus has learnt from Petunia, ever so briefly about
    the young boys life, sure'll theres no way he can hold a grudge against Harry, for what James (and
    his friends) did to Severus whilst at school? How will Severus behave towards young Harry, when he finally does awaken? What will happen to Petunia and Dudley once they are relatively safe from Vernon at Hogwarts? How will Albus,
    Minerva or Poppy react when they learn just how badly Vernon Dursley has systematically terriorised Harry, but also the effects of potential abuse upon both Petunia and Dudley?

    I'm very eager to find out just what cunning plan Severus will be able devise so that young Draco doesn't have to learn dark magic from his father Lucius? Hmm, I do think that both Petunia & Dudley (as well as young Harry) could definitely aid the muggle studies professor with some more uptodate information about muggles & the muggle world? If Petunia & the boys do plan to stay at Hogwarts, what will be done about there muggle education....or will a tutor be hired to teach them? Hmm...perhaps there would be some way of getting a tutor at Hogwarts to teach Harry, Dudley as well as Draco....and perhaps some other children there ages both pureblood, halfblood & muggleraised? Does Severus have any intention of teaching Dudley or Harry anything about potions before Harry starts Hogwarts? Are Petunia & Dudley, squibs...as Lily was a muggleborn witch...so there must have been a squib/or squibs in the family tree somehwere?
    Will Lucius, learn about Draco, making friends with Harry & his cousin Dudley...or would that be too risky for all of the boys? I do wish there was someway that Severus could get Draco away from his abusive father Lucius & his clearly neglectful mother Narcissa?

    I guess that both Dudley and Harry have had to grow-up quicker than the average 7yr olds because of the abusive/oppressive environment that they'd been forced to live in. Couldn't money from the Potter family vaults be used to suppliment Petunia & the boys, at least until she is able to full support the boys herself?
