- Amazing chapter. The ministry officials seem handpicked by Albus. If they weren't, Fudge certainly is a nitwit. I hope his follow up visit is a disaster from his perspective and a success from Severus's.

I love this chapter but miss hearing the professors annotate their meetings with the first years.
When Argus Filch first met Harry, he sympathised with the young wizard who showed all signs of having no remarkable magic at all. In fact, the squib could relate to the boy and therefore decided to help him. Together, the two unmagical pair work at Hogwarts where the young orphaned boy will become intrigued by a certain Potions Professor who works there.

- I like how believable this Snape's transformation has been. :)
Snape never wanted anyone to know of his promise to Dumbledore, but has realised that he can protect Potter much better by taking a less passive role in the boy's training. Actually liking Harry Potter has never been part of his plan. mentor/guardian.

- This is one of my favorite stories by far. I am super curious to learn how much Snape knows about the Dursleys--more than Harry thinks he does, I imagine. It's nice to see Harry have some real help during the Triwizard Tournament. I hope Snape can do something in time to thwart Voldemort's potion.
