    Good chapter, but wish there was more . I'm sad that Snape still calls Harry ", potter". How can Ian be accepted to start warming up to Harry when it's obvious Snape still detests Harry. Hmmm, wonder if Sirius showing up will be a good thing or not. If Sirius rejects Harry for being a Snape biological and Snape is still rejecting Harry then it'll be devastating for Harry. I was kinda wishing that Snape had come around a bit more before they returned to school.

    Good chapter and happy to see Ian have a bit of remorse if only a little. And Snape over hearing Harry was nice. Hopefully have him start to come around. Maybe during the quid ditch match with the dementors have sev finally have some parental feelings for Harry when he falls off hi s broom.

    Happy to see another chapter so quickly and congrats on passing 300 reviews, but story seems to be slowing a bit. Not nearly so much of that wonderful angst that kept me wanting more before. If Snape doesn't soon start caring for Harry then I don't see how Harry could possibly forgive Snape for all the hurt and hate. I know poor Harry is starved for love and affection but to start having familial feelings for Snape when Snape is still treating Harry like he's a bug under snapes shoe is a bit far fetched. Maybe if Harry gets hurt at quid ditch Snape could stay by his bedside and want to be there. Maybe even have Ian show up.
    And Ian seems to have disappeared.

    Liked it a lot and def. not overdone. Now tricky part is for Snape to figure out how to even start to begin to treat Harry differently. Obviously neither Snape nor Harry is going to change overnight. Looking forward to next chapter . It'll be hard and def. an uphill battle for Snape. Maybe, offer , if his own free will, to take Harry to diagonal ally for some clothes or something and get him to admit to Harry that it was snapes idea and not dumbledor

    Hmmm, I wonder if Ian did it as an apology. I don't think Snape sent it. I am hoping that lupin confronts Snape once and for all with some hard truths and questions that finally get Snape to admit that he was wrong. Maybe Lupin will say to Snape that Harry is not James, that he doesn't bully and he doesn't prank. Then maybe Snape will say that Harry bullied Ian in the corridor that day during Harry's detention . Maybe Lupin will say did he honestly do that? Did Ian say he did that? Maybe get Snape to doubt Ian story that night since Ian framed Harry with the cards. Maybe Snape could have a heart to heart about the corridor incident with Ian and finally find out the truth.
    Hmm, wonder if it should be Sirius or Snape that buys the firebolt this time. Anyways, great chapter. Can't wait for more.

    Great chapter. Wish it had been a bit longer and included Ian and snapes talk. Glad to see Ian finally growing up. I would really love to see Ian confess to getting Harry in trouble in the corridor that night. Snape needs to see that himself and Ian and Malfoy are more bully's like James than Harry ever was or ever will be.

    Loved it. And yes, I think things are moving along moderately paced now. Hmmm, maybe have Harry overhear Snape talking to Ian and tell Ian it was snapes idea and not dumbledor to have Harry over for breakfast. Not sure how it would play out but Harry still thinks dumbledor is pulling snapes strings. Harry will never warm up to Snape until he believes that Snape is doing it of free will. I mean Snape already told Harry the weekly meetings were dumbledors idea and is keeping Harry from hogsmead so Harry doesn't feel very familial right now, even though Snape has done a few surprising things such let Harry off when he forgot about the essay and telling off Malfoy. Hopefully, something else will happen . Maybe Snape could give Harry the broom instead of Sirius.

    Awesome chapter. Loved how it ended even I wished it was longer. Hmmm, hoping now that Snape will confront Harry with his refusal and Harry will remark that he doesn't feel wanted and that it's prob. Dumbles idea anyway. As for the broom issue. Hmmm, not sure about that one. Snape obviously can't afford it. Maybe Sirius can still send it. But I'd like for Snape to find out that Harry gets very little gifts and nothing from his relatives. Maybe Snape could go to gryff tower Xmas morning to give Harry something (ooooh, how about a picture of lily - that would be way more personal, no cost and then Harry might think Snape was sincere). And then Snape can overhear Harry thanking Ron and Hermione and overhear him make a remark about his relatives (dursleys) not giving him anything. Then maybe Ron talk about Snape and then overhear Harry say that he thought the invite was dumbles idea.
