- Snape really did come to a turning point. Maybe with the help of Lily, he will be able to see his own self-worth. She has the confidence in him to pull it off. Now, if he can only straighten things out with Harry.
Author's Response: I can't tell you how long I've wanted to write this chapter. Poor Sev has had such a hard life... And as for Harry, well... That poor kid has had a rough go of things, too. He has issues to work out, just like Snape. I guess we'll see what happens.

- Wow. That was unexpected. I guess the wards weren't strong enough. Poor Molly. I hope she is OK.
As for Severus finding a love interest, I have read some wonderful SS/OC stories and am looking forward to this one.
Author's Response: I promise we will get into why the wards fell, scout's honor! And I know, poor Molly... She's such a sweet woman, and I have to admit that I was definitely inspired by their duel in Voldemort's canon death scene. Now there's even MORE of a reason for her to hate Bellatrix - the woman attacked her and then brutally went after her cubs!! Mama Weasley Bear ain't gonna be too happy. And thank you for the kind remarks about the love interest aspect. I'm trying very hard to do Sev justice. :)

- Oh, heck, the dreaded cliffie! I like the way you set it up for Albus, Minerva and Severus to show up at that moment, just when they were needed most. And Snape rescuing Harry will reconcile that problem for everyone. Nice job of tying it all together. Looking forward to Bella getting hers.

- I can't believe that Severus is returning to Voldemort. With the Dark Mark, I guess he has no choice but I wonder what he is going to say about attacking Bella?

- So Severus managed to fool Voldemort again. I'm glad that Sev has the support of those he loves. He needs it. The whole chapter makes one wonder what would ever compel someone to become a Death Eater.
Author's Response: Yes, he managed to get out of a tight spot yet again, thank goodness! And I think what draws people to become a Death Eater is one of two things: 1.) They have been outcasts their entire lives and want to belong; or 2.) They can see Voldemort's power and want a piece of it for themselves. Although I haven't written it in this story, as cruel as the Dark Lord is, I'm sure he can be just as giving to his Death Eaters when things are going his way. Thank you so much for the review!

- I like the way Lily and Jillian have been introduced to the wizarding world. It must have been a lot to take in. The ice cream sounded fun for the whole group and I enjoyed Snape teasing Harry in Weasley Wizarding Wheezes. Though it sounds like the glamours may be attracting attention rather than letting them blend in.

- That was a fun chapter. I wonder if Lily will get a familiar? The Weasleys selling shield items was a clever idea. I guess Severus didn't tell Lily that they are related to her when they were in the shop. Now that Lily has her wand, I'm wondering if she will be taking some classes to learn to control her magic. Looking forward to more.
Author's Response: I'm so glad that you enjoyed it!! :) It's definitely fun to dip into the world of humor instead of dwelling on the world of darkness that almost consumed Sev and Harry (although they are still smack dab in the middle of a war, so that darkness may be coming back). - That was a good chapter. I was hoping that Lily and the Weasleys would get together soon. It was nice to have Albus plan a meal for everyone to meet Lily and Jillian. The byplay with Snape and the twins was fun, too.
I hope your husband is OK. I love reading your story but family is more important so don't worry about making me wait for new chapters.
Author's Response: Awww, thank you! I have to admit, this chapter was really difficult for me - I rewrote it about a dozen times, lol. It's a lot easier for me to write angst than it is for me to write fluff, it seems... Then again, with everything going on with the hubs, my mind has been all over the place. But I'm SO glad you liked it!! Thank you for putting my fears to rest that it wasn't good enough. :) More coming soon, I promise!! (I swear this story is therapeutic for me, lol.)

- That was a nasty surprise. With Bellatrix knowing occlumency, Severus will have to be especially careful.
I hope your husband is doing better. It sounds like writing is cathartic for you. I had a friend that found that writing was an escape when her husband was ill. It gave her something else to focus on, she told me.
Author's Response: Poor Sev and family... They just can't get an easy time of it. But as Dumbledore so eloquently puts it, there comes a time when one must choose between what is right and what is easy. And no one can deny that Sev and Harry always do what's right.
