I was born and raised in America, I've never been out of the country and probably never will be. I'm trying very hard to get the British ism's right, but I'll probably make mistakes. My husband lived in Scotland on and off for ten years between 1975 and 1985 when he was in the Navy, so he obviously knows a lot more than I do and knows people to ask when he doesn't.

I have two wonderful beta's, badgerlady, who has a keen eye for punctuation errors and who also helps a lot with the Brit-picking and Crescent, who is marvelous with the spelling and plot ideas. I couldn't do this without them. I have an addiction to apostrophe's and double spaces at the end of sentences, and they help keep me in line. [Report This]
