Voldemort is gone and Harry's relatives had no desire to keep Harry for long, so he was placed into an orphanage until he was adopted by a family. But when they pass away a few years later, he is placed into the custody of another who had just moved to Spinner's End. That is when Severus first saw the boy without even knowing who he was. The little boy, seven years old, who was always forgotten, uncared for and treated like filth. Severus watches this boy and sees a reflection of his own childhood. And when they meet, Severus vows to offer kindness where no one else does, in the form of a simple piece of food the boy lacked or a warm blanket for the cold days ahead. And when things get worst, he even offers shelter to the child the world had forgotten and cast aside.
The boy Severus now wants to save.

- I love this story. It is so hood to see different characters personalities in doiffrrrnt children. Not where ones sees Draco and automatically thinks he is a pest.

- Your story is so good. Such imagination. I think #3 would be best. Harry would not understand #1 and #2 sens to easy as we know how Sirius escapes. Operation Potter search and the teohouses cooperating was so clever. Miss Kitty too.

- A really good ending to Harry's kidnapping, and even better to see it reported where Sirius can read about it. Now when will the doggie escape?
Skull is such and interesting and funny addition to the story. That song and dance was hilarious.

- I am so sorry about you mother. Mine is slowly dying from Alzheimer's and she has not known the family for over a year.
It is very hard and please take the time togridve and heal.
