An accident leads to a discovery, a discovery that neither Harry Potter nor Professor Severus Snape can abide. Now they have to live in the same castle knowing what they know. Each of them has friends who think they should give their relationship a chance. Friends really should mind their own business. Note: The warnings seem ominous but this is not a dark story, quite the contrary. The instances that include the warned of moments will simply be briefly referred to and not minutely examined.

    Well I am a grandmother and didn't allow little things like weather keep me from going to my granddaughters birth. The Snaps family should be aware of this if nothing else through the Prophet. Wonder how that will change things? Excellent story.

    Thank you for your review.  Snape probably should have told them but he didn't care enough to.  Rest assured, his family will not only find out, but will be very involved in Harry's life whether Snape likes it or not.

    An excellent job with this story. Such mixed messages from the Professor. Great descriptions of Harry's room, it sounds so cozy.

    This is a stunningly beautiful story. I cried at the end. I always thought through the books that Severus was an achingly lonely man. Part of the cut scene showed him waiting for Dumbledore to return to the castle with Harry and then he was going to have to kill his friend and mentor. The acting was wonderful. Your work caught that loneliness and showed how that small time of love made such a difference.
