Title: Chapter 21: Week 21, Tired

I've read this story a few times on other sites and i love it just as much now as I did when I first found it. I do hope you continue it. Hermes is such a creative, new, interesting character. I've always thought the Hermione character would have done well in Slytherin and I'm glad to read a story that explores that a little bit. I'm more interested in the gender identity angle though. More please!!! :-)

I'm so happy to see an update to this most favorite story of mine. Though I confess, I sort of miss the report style that was it was in the beginning. We were able to track quite a few characters that way. But I also realize that format can hinder quite a bit of development and details. So, I guess I'm happy either way and this is mostly a useless review :-)

How excited and relieved and grateful Hermes must be to find out he can actually be himself. Thanks to Magic. It might be in poor taste, but I so want Hermes to go up to McG and say "suck it you old bag, I AM BOY!" She hasn't been very supportive or open minded towards Hermes has she? Very much close minded and a teensy bit judgemental. I would think if this is "known" medical issue in the WW, she would have recognized Hermes's... issue, condition - not quite sure what the correct word would be - after being a HOH for so many decades. But then again, she's no Healer and quite rigid in her outlook so perhaps she's unaware of this treatment.
Author's Response: Perhaps Madame Pomfrey will ask a few of her former students to drop by and intervene?

a very enjoyable read. the relationship just sort of creeps up on them. True, they haven't tackled anything substantive (trust, respect, etc) but they are building a good foundation.
I look forward to more!

wonderful! I very much enjoyed reading the evolution of their relationship. Well done!
"He isn't my real father, but he's the only one I've got," Harry said miserably. "And he hates me." "He doesn't," she whispered, but then could say no more. Lily begins to see. Answer to Bratling's Survival Challenge.

Ancient magic says that if an innocent magical child is in danger, The Fates may choose to send down two adults: one to guide the child to a guardian, and one to guide the guardian to the child. When the two guides meet again, they will be brought back to the Afterworld, and the child will be left with its destined guardian. No form of authority can come in between this Fated bond.

i like this idea for a story, in particular that voldy is gone. it's too bad the story seems to be abandoned.

i like that you have allowed for harry's healing away from hogwarts. so many stories have harry experience a traumatic event, pat him on his head, and say "off you go" with no care to his emotional healing...cough cedric, rebirth of voldie, sirius's death in canon...cough. i look forward to reading more soon!
When Harry receives a letter at the end of his second year, the effects change not only his life but the lives of two others. With secrets uncovered, perceptions altered and lives changing drastically, can a family form out of the chaos?

i'm enjoying this story and i'm glad you're taking a realistic approach to harry's new circumstances. he will not be able to trust or relax in severus and draco's presence for quite some time. he will always be evaluating the threat level and it certainly won't go away during a few weeks of summer vacation. i look forward to reading more soon.
Author's Response: Thank you! I think he's slightly more trusting, but it's mostly because he wants so badly for this all to be "real" but he's definitely not going to put a lot of trust in them for a while yet.
