- I loved it. It was a very good look at what would've happened if Snape and Harry had a close relationship from the beginning. I loved the snapshots of the events that took place throughout the years. I loved the happy ending. Thanks for writing.
Being sent to stay in a psychiatric ward at St. Mungo’s isn’t exactly the most enjoyable way to spend a summer, so naturally, Harry’s pretty angry when he finds out that’s his destination, regardless of whether or not it might be good for him. Facing a full summer of being cut off from the Order’s plans, Harry’s even taken to envying Snape, because at least Snape knows what is going on. But when Harry arrives at St. Mungo’s and discovers that a fire has changed his destination from the teen ward to the adult ward, everything is turned upside down. Enter his roommate - suicidal, depressed, and none other than Severus Snape. They are both willing to bet that their summer will be a total disaster, and maybe it will be, but even the surest of gamblers are not always right.

- Wow fantastic start!!!
I am immediately drawn in! What is going on with Harry and Snape? They seem to be getting along so how did that come about? What was in the Prophet? Why are they late getting to Hogwarts? Why are they taking the train instead of apparation or floo?
This first chapter makes me WANT to click the Next button, as it is supposed to! It's not filled with tons of backstory or head musing. The characters are doing something interesting and I want to find out more. I hardly ever see a compelling first chapter in fanfiction (which is too bad). Great job! Can't wait to read more!

- LOL you pulled the Bobby Ewing on Dallas move on us! I have to say though, that the characterization of Dumbledore was 100% unique. It was a good story and I'm glad everyone didn't really bite the dust in the end.
Summer fic fest. At one point, early in their life, every wizard needs to submit to surgery. The summer after his first year at Hogwarts, it is the turn of Harry Potter to do so. It’s supposed to be a trifle, but what is ordinary about the Boy-who-lived? Complications will arise. Ghosts from the past will appear and secrets people thought buried for ever are revealed. The question is, in the middle of this ordeal, will Severus Snape at long last find something meaningful to do with his life?

- Thanks for this story. I really liked it. As I was reading this, I had no idea you weren't a native English speaker. I did see a couple of awkward words/phrases but there really weren't any more than what I usually see from a native speaker. Excellent job!
Dark secrets and an even darker past threaten to destroy the boy on whom the entire wizarding world has pinned their hopes. Can Severus Snape find it within him to heal and accept the broken child of his nemesis, and in the process, ultimately heal and accept himself? (AU-ish, but follows canon. Severitus - mentor/adoption - WARNING: mentions sexual abuse, but no details)

- Great story! I really enjoyed it. Even though everyone loved each other a bit quickly, it was still great to see Snape and Harry part of their own loving family - with Albus to boot!
