- This is so dark. I feel like we never see enough of this side of Voldemort-- I really enjoy when people write like this, even if it makes me wince. He's a merciless, cruel, evil being, and sometimes I think we forget that Severus has to deal with him like this whenever he's summoned. Bravo-- very well written!
Also, I don't know how to feel about this new Lily yet, but I'm getting used to the idea the more and more you write her. Your story is simply marvelous-- I can't even find the right words. There's something about it that tugs away and makes it feel very natural.
Author's Response: Awww, well thank you! My husband saw a bit of what I was writing about Voldemort and was like, "Damn babe, and people say that you're one of the nicest people they've ever met. If they only knew..." I had to laugh at that. It was pretty twisted. And although I hate thinking about such dark, demented things, I think you're absolutely right that we never get to see enough of it firsthand. And it's totally ok if you're unsure about Lily. Hopefully I can do a good enough job of writing her to win you over. ;) Lol. Thanks for the review!!

- WOW. What a transformation in Severus' behavior towards Harry since the first chapter. While I think Dumbledore is a bit justified in his anger about Severus handling Harry that one time, I think that leaving things to chance is just as irresponsible.
OH that last line-- Oooooh.
Author's Response: I agree about Dumbledore. He's a meddling old fool who is doing his best to save the world from certain destruction. Poor guy, lol. And yeah, Severus is going through a MAJOR transformation, and with his traumatic background and all the issues he's never addressed, it's definitely a difficult scenario. - Holy angst, I don't know who's more on the verge of an emotional breakdown after this chapter-- me, or these characters.
