About me:

I have a long-term reading addiction, and have been writing accompanying fanfiction for about eight years now. Initially they were mostly poetry/songs, but I’m starting to lean more towards actual stories (Seeing is Believing is my longest to date).

While I very much enjoy reading longer novels with complex plot, my writing brain seems to be wired for oneshots. I have a single concept or plot point, and have a tendency to stop right after the climax rather than looking into the aftermath.

    This was a nice fic, and surprisingly light. I like the way that their 'understanding' was through random facts making them seem more human, rather than delving into deeper issues the way these sort of stories often do. And I can totally see Snape using Muggle pens.

    I can totally see Harry freaking out like that. And Snape's response was perfect; the way that he can't understand how Harry turned out all right, and is almost angry at him for forgiving him and wanting to be friends.

    Interesting. I like the way that they start the conversation talking about different problems, but by the end it doesn't matter and they are each saying the right things anyway.

Blaise probably couldn't expect much, this time. Blaise was a Death Eater's kid, raised by, if not always Death Eaters, at least not blood traitors. Molly Weasley's soul was so clean it squeaked. It was a good thing Blaise had Snape to fall back on, for awhile. Mrs. Weasley was just too...not a Death Eater. Way, way too not a Death Eater to want to keep Blaise for very long.

    I'm so glad to see another sequel to one of my all-time favourite fics!

    I hadn't thought particularly about how Blaise would cope with the Weasleys, but it is a good point, and I love the direction you are taking it. It is interesting (and sad) the way you have further developed his character and similarities wih Harry. I hope he turns out to be as lucky in the end.

    I wonder what Ron's reaction to Blaise's changed behviour is?

    I loved Severus'comments aout Harry 'destruction testing'his rules; it is the perfect description for his behaviour.

    Looking forward to the next chapter.

    I love seeing the way Blaise is struggling; both he and the Weasleys wanting him to be a part of the family, but him refusing to risk it. And that moment when he realised his goal keeps swinging between having them accept him, and forcing them to kick him out...

    Poor Blaise at the end, there. He's tired and hungry and confused and scared, and to top it all off Molly just won't give up and let him sneak in to retrieve his stuff.

    We've already seen him pushed far enough to make him run, what happens when he gives in completely?
    (note: the correct answer is hugs - and probably tears - including him hugging back)

    I'm looking forward to the next chapter as soon as it's ready. Please don't leave him waiting outside too long.
