Slytherin!
Thirteen-year-old Harry is forced into the body of another Harry in a parallel world, where Snape adopted him years ago. And Snape is enraged to discover that his son has been replaced by a stranger. In our world, Snape discovers a new Harry--one who sees him as a father he never wanted to be. Each Harry must learn to survive in a strange new world, and search for a way home.

- This chapter was absolute magic. I am enjoying your story so much. Beautifully written. "I like beans on toast" - wonderful. You've got a completely human, canon character of Snape and that's terribly difficult to accomplish. Well done.
Author's Response: Beans on toast seems like definite bachelor chow. :) Thanks for the kudos! I think Snape is second only to the Malfoys in the list of characters who are difficult to keep in canon and keep human. I mostly draw on my own repressed, bitter nature. ;)

- Harry is too cute. He reminds me forcibly of my own seven year old brother. I love the Snape bonding here! It's refreshing to see a story where Tobias starts bad but grows into a relatively caring grandfather and father. I'm charmed. Updates! You update so quickly it puts the rest of us to shame haha. No idea how you do it, but bravo.
And yeah, I am 100% positive that principal is a purely American thing. They are never principals in the UK, just Headmasters and Headmistresses.

This harry is based upon several of my nephews when they were that age--they are all much older now, but I still remember most of what they did and how they acted, since I used to watch them nearly every day. And I like this Tobias better than my original idea, which was to have be the typical nasty abusive man.
And my updates....I write very very quickly, and don't ask me how I do it, either, but once I have something in my head it won't let me go until I'm done. And I can translate my ideas into words and scenes very easily, it's very weird, I can't really explain it, but once I sit down and start writing, I see an image in my head and somehow I know how to write it. I write at night, usually, and I can type somewhere around 350 WPM, so that helps too. People ask me all the time, how did you do that so fast? I don't know, I just do.
And thanks for the tip about the Headmaster, I'll fix it in the chapter! :)

- I never like vampire stories, and yet this one is just too cool! I'm impressed, and I want to read more. Harry is adorable, Nicolas is intriguing - update soon, please! Your story is original and fascinating, and I can't believe I like a story with vampires in it this much, but I do! And I've only read the first chapter!

Thanks for the correction. :) It's been a while since my last French class, and there my teacher told us to mark the accents in the middle and make everybody guess which ones you mean. - Aw, once again you've done brilliantly. I'm really loving the way you take this - you capture Harry's cluelessness perfectly. Unlike many authors who tend to portray Harry as either a complete airhead or far too Slytherin to be considered canon, you've somehow managed to transport canon Harry into an entirely non-canon situation and it's wonderfully impressive. Can't wait to see more.
Author's Response: Yes, that kind of thing has always bothered me a little...especially stories in which Harry is sorted into Slytherin and is all of a sudden an evil vindictive creep. People tend to forget, I think, how close Harry was to being in Slytherin...and that was WITHOUT displaying any of those kinds of traits. There is something in Harry's character that fits perfectly in Slytherin without him changing a thing. I hope you continue to enjoy it. I was really sick for a few days and was then subsequently swamped with work, so the next chapter has taken a while. It should be up in the next few days though. :)
