Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

    I started reading this story years ago, but I never finished the chapters that had already been published, I wanted to finish the story on my own terms and not because I ran out of chapters to read. I was so happy when I saw the update here! I think I read the story elsewhere the first time. Yeah, anyways it's amazing that you started writing it again, and I love every second of it. And I got a bit distracted by your story, hence my review after a totally random chapter. But it was brilliant just like the rest.

[COMPLETE] After Harry blows up Aunt Marge and catches the Knight Bus to Diagonalley, he decides to take charge of his life when he learns he’s being sent back to Four Privet Drive. Harry spends the summer turning life in Diagonalley on its head, trying not to worry about the murderer Sirius Black, and attempting to avoid Severus Snape. In the midst of this he finds himself embroiled in an intense legal battle against Albus Dumbledore to decide his future.     I love this story!
    I've really hoped the Sirius issue would have been solved in another way, but maybe there is still a possibility to solve it in a way that enables them to spend more time together and puts Pettigrew in Azkaban.
    And I love Payne Street and the people there!
    And I'm looking forward to Snape and Harry dealing with each other.

    I really liked your story and "I know very well that no one will name their child for me after this war is over." was definitively the best line. But I also really liked the end.

    is the title of the chapter supposed to be an avatar: the last airbender reference or have I just watched the show too much?

    Author's Response: Ha! Funny thing is that I'm currently watching the show again (for the hundredth time, give or take). It was not a conscious choice, but now that it does share a chapter title with Avatar: The Last Airbender, I'm glad it does! :D
