- I rather enjoyed this story. I understand it's your health circumstances that kept you from going further, so I can't really complain. I'd have loved to see more of course, I think snape and harry are really moving towards a sevitus relationship. But, this story as it stands, was definitely a great read! Thank you

- Oh my God I absolutely am in love. That was brilliant. A powerful,honest, truthful, confident Harry taking on Snape and Snape looking like th petty childish grudge hating fool he usually is-- it was brilliant beginning to end. And what Harry did at the end both threatening snapes life and THEN saying give me my cigarettes and go away, your shifts over-- that was top-notch writing there. I'd pay to read a full story of that!

Draco is always enthusiastic to spend the day with his uncle Sev, and he's extra excited when he gets to do so at Hogwarts this week. But only a few hours into the day and the headmaster visited the dungeons, bringing along an extra special "adventure" for the two. Harry Potter had runaway from his home at the Dursely's for the fifth time now, and Albus was starting to get flustered. None of the family service witches had seemed to do any help for little Harry, so Albus decided to send Severus this time. The only problem is that Harry's situation is much worse than Severus wanted to believe. What happens after Severus is witness to the boy's home life? How does Draco react to meeting the-boy-who-lived? Why is the headmaster so upset about it?

- I'm really surprised the potion brought snape here. I just think that it'd have been better for him to come at an earlier point in this universe so he could get a true headstart on righting the decisions he'd made wrong before. Especially an earlier point would've meant less traumatic and honestly rude interactions between them so less hate to get over. I'm interested to see the story progress; by placing Severus here into this world with it as far down the path as it is, you've set quite a challenge. Should be very fun to watch it unfold
No one on Privet Drive was surprised when the priest came to deliver last rights to the boy, but who was the strange man with the long white beard accompanying him? “Cancer” was what Agnes from Number 2 thought it was. “An eating disorder” was what Mary of Number 3 believed it to be. Whatever the case may be, Harry Potter had been taken to the hospital many times and was seen to only be getting worse.

- Awww I knew your notes kept alluding to the end coming but I just never wanted it to! This was such a delightful story! And what a perfect ending although every part of me is sure Draco will get Julian to sit with him lol and what Draco wants Draco gets. Brilliantly written and I love the medical know-how you've got-- It definitely made for a more realistic and interesting read!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed. The second installment is currently in the works, though I likely won't start posting it until it is about halfway complete. Just so I have more chapters to post and don't have to worry about hitting deadlines and what-not.
Following the disasterous Third Task, Harry begins to notice two things about himself. First: his appearence has begun to change. Second: something is very very wrong. The Cruciatus shouldn't continue to be causing him pain this far out from having received it, should it?

- Oh I think if Elias describes his dream like that to remus, remus is going to make some big leaps with his research.i mean he felt like static when voledmort was using magic! When remus was first ranting about how muggles used it for bad my mind went "oh merlin do wizards not know about nuclear weapons and stuff" and then he learned about chernobyl and I figured he might go on a bit of a rampage-- he finally thought mugglez capable of doing something amazing only for them to stuff it up with nuclear weapons and meltdowns. Frightening that the ministry hid that from wizards; I mean I get not panicking the public but who says wizards can't get sick from radiation and whatnot? Anyway, awesome chapter -- thanks for it

Author's Response: Couple reasons for the delay. 1: Bit o' writers block. 2: Work stuff. Covid cases are up so I'm having to work a loooot more. I work 12 hour shifts and basically work and go to bed. Wear a mask y'all! 3: Just a touch o' depression rearing its ugly head. - I know Sirius is going to pass, and I do understand why severus is hesitant to tell him but if he can trust two people notorious for turning on harry for the smallest things, he can trust Sirius with an oath. Remus at least I mean, he told Hermione (hedging is the same as outright telling in my book), he should've told Sirius. I just feel for him

Them turning on Harry was the reason I needed Snape to bind them with an oath. Also, I can't see him trusting teenagers to do anything they are told to do correctly after his own teenage years went so terribly. If he didn't tell them, they would continue to look into it. If he lied to them or tried to prevaricate, they would have continued to look into it because someone had to have told Snape they were digging into it anyways OR they would have gone to Dumbledore. As much effort as Snape put into hiding Elias, he really only had a short period of time to do it in and he had to operate in some rather grey territory to get it done. There's bound to be some pretty obvious holes and it definitely didn't help that Elias kinda shot it in the foot while he was confused.
I love Sirius, but Snape definitely doesn't. Honestly, I think the reason I didn't have Remus tell Sirius was that he hasn't really been at Grimmauld Place all that much. Besides, I don't think Remus would have told him unless questioned directly. Hermione kind of backed him into a corner he wasn't prepared for when he wasn't feeling all that great. I think you'll like what I'm going to do to Sirius though.
