This chapter is quite funny. Getting
To see Minerva as just so damn funny , sarcastic and sweet. The foreshadowing for her "we were all surprised".
Author's Response: Thanks. I can't tell when my trying to be funny/sitcom-ish is landing. (No one laughs when I try to joke in person, so I have no gauge for this, lol)
I'm working ont that "we were all suprirsed" section right now. It got expanded a bit because it's too much fun.

I was so happy for this update.
Lots of Minerva's snappy goodness.
Neville coming into his own, publicly telling Ron off.
Senate's arm around sleeping, barefoot Harry was such a sweet moment.

Long ago there was a prolific LJ account with mostly HP pencil drawings and thousands of followers and such amazing art. And an image showed up on their account that matched this scene. But the artist had a note about please not downloading the art. So I honored that. But the account vanished and I really wished I had a copy just for me that I just never shared around, mostly honoring the artist... SIGH.

Come on Severus, it's the first Christmas with your adopted son. Probably not the best time for a sleep over with the girl friend. But still makes an interesting chapter. And Candide was pretty good about it all.

Harry thinking he must look different now cracked me up.
And him thinking to himself that getting shagged made for a pretty good holiday was also pretty funny.
Author's Response: I'm relieved the v-card punch section is playing out okay. I still think of this as YA -ish and have anxiety about these sections as a result. So thanks for the reaction on that!
