    I was a little eh on the scream he did when he pulled ron as sirius grabbed him but it may have been of fear ad well as pain bc there were visible bruises. That takes a bit of force to show up so fast so, yeah

Harry spends the summer turning life in Diagonalley on its head, trying not to worry about the murderer Sirius Black, and attempting to avoid Severus Snape. In the midst of this he finds himself embroiled in an intense legal battle against Albus Dumbledore to decide his future. For the first time his fate rests solely in his own hands, and depend on the decisions he finds himself being forced to make. Harry wishes he could just be a thirteen year old boy, and begins to wonder if he’ll ever have the childhood he desires the most. After Dumbledore’s death, Hogwarts has to be evacuated to ensure a proper turnover of the wards. Accordingly, McGonagall announces that everyone must leave for the winter holidays. With Bellatrix still on the loose, Harry has little desire to endanger his friends by going home with them, so he resigns himself to a terrible holiday spent with the Dursleys.

Thankfully for him, Severus has been on the alert ever since he had uncovered bits and pieces of Harry’s childhood. When he discovers where Harry has gone, he immediately sets about putting the situation to rights.

Minerva hadn’t suspected anything to be out of the ordinary with this year’s batch of students, but she was certainly surprised when there was. Severus Snape wasn’t expecting a scrawny boy to turn up at his office covered in filth and in desperate need of attention.

    Whdkdh this reminds me of a fic i read a coupke days agp where dudley commited crimes and blamed them on harry and he got arrested and snape took him in to supposedly fix his attitude, i really liked that story and i especially like this one^^
