Hi, so I'm Scott. I've spent the past 14 or more years training, volunteering and eventually finding some work as a gardener. I'm also a man who happens to be Transgender, Jewish, Vegetarian and collects toys (LEGO, Playmobil, Action Man mainly). These things don't define me but they have helped shape me into the person that I am today.
Volunteering is something that I feel passionate about having volunteered at the Sheffield Botanical Gardens for the past 12 - 14 years and with the conservation group BTCV and other local groups since 2012 these people and places have taught me a lot more than just how to be a gardener and shaped me for better or for worse into the person I am. They made me passionate about what I do, about plants, nature and the importance of conservation work and looking after our green spaces and taking pride in our local areas by keeping them free from litter.
One of my passions is taking photos specifically taking photos of my figures out and about in the real world and interacting with plants. It's probably one of the things that I do have a talent for and a skill which has been fine-tuned during lockdown. I am a big fan of Doctor Who, Thunderbirds, Star Wars, Pokemon, and Formula 1 amongst other things. I've always loved magic but shied away from what was popular until I recently decided to read the Harry Potter books for myself, personally, I blame LEGO for my sudden interest when they brought out the new Harry Potter sets, either way, it drew me like so many people in and after discovering the James Potter series I became keen to find more Fanfiction and eventually to try my hand at writing my own stories. I'll admit to being rather an amateur, I'm not the best at writing and expressing my thoughts and I'm not the most creative to maintain a plot or think up new ideas for a story but I just want to show what I have and I do it because I enjoy it and I want to upload and share my work even if nobody looks at it to know it's out there. please see my fanfiction page if interested for more stories

Severus Snape is currently about my favourite character (along with Harry of course), he's a mysterious enigma, not entirely a bad guy or a good guy, we're set up to hate him till the last curveball, yet he still begrudgingly plays his part and does the jobs no one else can while maintaining the perfect mask of cold indifference and all for a pure, undying love, a love that can never be returned. Yet there's so much we don't know, so much of the story that's left open to interpretation if we just dig a little deeper and that makes him incredibly interesting as a character to write (look up the true meaning of Asphodel and Wormwood if you don't believe me).
I love reading any Severus based fanfiction, good/evil Dumbledore, Harry and Draco as friends/enemies, Harry being Slytheirn/Hufflepuff etc. I like them all provided they've got a good story, I like a bit of humour and people taking cannon events and making them their own.
