When Harry finds an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.
Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

- ok, i didn't read the story yet since i just saw it on the updated page but i gotta say, dude, you're one determined person. you got some strength beyond measure, and im honestly awed. picking up a story a decade after you started, its just, wow. so yea, ill read it and come back later to tell you how it was but anyways, have my admiration.

I hate unfinished things, and even though this is "just" fanfiction, it's been looming over my head for years. I can't do that for another decade, so this is my year of getting on the ball and finishing things I've started. It feels great so far!

- wow dude. just. wow. this chapter was a goddamn trip and i loved it. the series is honestly amazing (how i loved severus' outburst to dumbledore). i'm only giving a 9 because i can't help but keep thinking about sirius and the rest? other than that everything is perfect
After little Harry Potter runs away from his relatives’ home for the sixth time, Albus decides something drastic must happen. Instead of sending a friendly witch from family services like he had done before, he sends Severus Snape in hopes of scaring the boy into staying put. But when a blizzard interferes with plans, Severus learns why Harry keeps running away and a change of plans ensues.

- Honestly, this fic? Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular *Lady Gaga voice*.
Seriously, this is so cute and I'm loving the plot so far, I love Eileen (!!!!!! she's thriving!!!! Tobias is dead!!!!! Life is great!!!!!!) and I love how you can see Severus loosing the fight, he's completely head over heels for the kid but he has to keep his damn image (he's failing, miserably, and ain't that great?).
