Harry Potter won the war and was hoping to finally get some rest from the busy world, but some unknown dark forces are stepping onto the chessboard, challenging him to play a deadly 'hide-and-seek' game. Who would win and would it be worth it?

It's year six and Harry struggles with the visions he's inherited from Voldemort. Dumbledore is reaching the end of his time and needs to ensure someone will take care of Harry after the headmaster is gone. An incident in the Forbidden Forest where Snape must care for an injured Harry without using magic sets in motion far reaching changes in their lives and in the magical world.

While the wizarding world struggles with the return of Voldemort, Harry struggles with the death of Sirius and his own out of control magic. His summer before 6th year is unlike any other as he trains alongside the Order, grows close to Severus Snape, of all people, and learns of an unfathomable fate assigned to one Draco Malfoy, a fate he is determined to stop. As the world falls apart, it seems Harry's life may finally come together.
