Reviews For Filling the Void
Author's Response: Thank you! It seems you're in luck, as the next chapter has just been uploaded.
I really like the way you write Snape... I think it's a mix out of the canon Snape -greasy git, bastard extraordinaire- and the Snape that all real Severus fans see sometimes... the good man he really is... And I like it that he is somehow at the end of his wits with Harrys problems... makes him more human. Hope to read more soon. Bye Sanchan Author's Response: Thank you. I try very hard to keep the balance, to keep Snape realistic to canon, yet also the type of character who would take Harry in. It's quite difficult, and I'm not always successful. As always, reviews are appreciated beyond words.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Author's Response: Hahaha, I know exactly what you mean. How about this: Some angst for Harry, with Snape making it all right in the end? Glad you liked the packing scene. Inspired by semi-true to life events with my 12 year old nephew. He was visiting me for a few weeks and I sent him off to a sleep over, trusting him to pack without thinking to check his bag. Once he was gone I found his pyjamas and his toothbrush were still at my place. Heh. So Snape thinks to check where I did not :)
Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing. Hopefully the next chapter won't be too long in coming.
Author's Response: Sometimes it's just a matter of flow. The chapter needs to stop somewhere and that was the logical place based on the next chapter and the chapter after that. Undoubtedly I could have written more and turned two chapters into one, but trust me, then you would have even longer to wait! Unfortunately real life keeps me very busy these days. Glad you liked it though, and thanks for reviewing!
I liked how Harry came just before Snape was leaving to say goodbye. He really is insecure (but that's understandable). I wonder if the night at the Burrow will go smoothly (in fact, I bet not). Author's Response: Snape tried to sneak away in an attempt to make it look like he was non-chalant about the whole thing but Harry foiled his attempt, lol. Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: Me neither, heh. I mean, I have ideas but sometimes Harry & Severus surprise me.
Author's Response: 24 hours can be surprisingly long, as I think our boys are about to discover. Thanks for the review! |
