Reviews For Harry's Angel
Author's Response: Thank you so much for this wonderful review!!! I'm so happy to hear that you like the idea behind this fic and the way I wrote it, all the way to the happy ending. : ) I don't have any more Snape-centric plot ideas at the moment, but I do have one other Harry kid fic in case you're interested. It's a crossover fic called "Third Time's the Charm" and can be found on AO3 or FFN. : )
Author's Response: That is lovely to hear. Thank you so much!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad there are still people reading this. ^^
Author's Response: Thank you. : )
First of all, I would like to show my indignation and sadness at the abysmal amount of reviews for this wonderful story. You deserve a lot more than that. I was also very encouraged to review by the fact that you still read them and respond to every one of them. During half of the story I had to desperately clutch at my throat to ward off that highly unpleasant tingling sensation. Even though I didn't cry, this sensation was somehow even worse, it was almost unpleasant to the point of being painful, and I, for some absurd reason, welcomed it as it was the sign of a beautifully written story. To be honest, I read the story two times before reviewing it. I loved your concept of the Bird of Death. I had always liked a guilty Sev after he has treated Harry badly. This story was everything that I could ever hope for. Your story had the potential to end at every the end? but I am glad that you chose not to. I have to admit that I am still hoping by some miracle for this story to continue, but, alas. Now, letting go of all that beautifully and formally written English: I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS STORY!! Why did you have to end it?! Oh, why do stories have to end? Can't you post a sequel? This was so nice, beautiful and heartwarming. I loved the way you portrayed Harry, Severus and Dumbledore! Every time Severus' chest constricted, I had that tingling sensation. Every time Severus questioned something that he had done or said (or lack thereof) to Harry, I had to clutch at my throat. I loved it! I don't have enough words to praise this, and I am deeply offended that this story is in such a secluded part of the website. Why don't you post this on Fanfiction.net? That website is a lot more bigger than this one and is sure to get more hits! If you don't have an account, then make one. If you have already posted, then I bet that it got more hits than this one. I love you! Author's Response: Who doesn't love a beautiful, long review? I, for one, adore them. This one totally made my day. :D This fic is in fact up on both FFN and AO3, but so far, it hasn't gotten markedly more reviews or hits there than it did here.... which makes me enjoy the occasional review all the more. ^^ I think I know that feeling you described. That ache in your throat, that stinging in the corners in your eyes that tells you that the world looks horrible to your hero right now but you believe - have to believe! - that things will get better because this is a story and not reality and I'm not really crying right now and OMG SNAPE WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? - Yep, to me that's also usually the sign of a well-written story and I love when that happens. I'm really glad my story could do that for you. I fear that a sequel is only going to happen if you write it yourself. I imagine that things can only get better for Harry and Severus from here on out and I am crap at writing fluff; I also don't read it much. Give me allll the drama, please, and then make it better - but as soon as it *is* better: next story, please. ; ) Anyway, thank you so much for the lovely long review! - Dime
Author's Response: You are very welcome, and thank you! : )
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Always happy to share. :P - Dime
Author's Response: Mean though it may sound, I am glad to hear that it made you cry. :P I love it when a story manages to reach a reader emotionally.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! :) I wonder what Little Harry's version of events would have sounded like... Probably a lot more confusing to listen to. :P
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. -- Dime |
