I'm pretty much an all-around nerd; and besides Harry Potter, some of my favorite things are: Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who, Ranger's Apprentice, Merlin, Star Wars, Charlie Bone, and anything Jane Austen.

It is extremely unfortunate for Harry Potter that once the bond of an apprentice is made, it cannot be undone… that is until the Master relinquishes control. It is unfortunate for Mr. H.     Been binging this all day. Excellent story. Harry's reluctance to call Snape "Dad" was well thought. It was also good to see more Crabbe'n'Goyle content. A lot of fics where Harry befriends Draco have Draco dumping them, so it was nice to see them not left behind for a change. Snape's improved teaching methods was also satisfying. The man's a genius at potions; if he had a little more patience, he could actually make a good teacher.

Following the death of Sirius, Harry isn't sure what to make of the sudden appearance of a six-year-old boy. The pair form a bond, unaware they're half-brothers, and Harry decides to take the boy to Hogwarts and hide him there. To aide the boy's education, Harry anonymously exchanges letters with Snape.

A story of a how a young boy becomes a father-figure to another while their own father is oblivious of their biological existence. But can sixteen-year-old Harry give what he himself has not gained? Can he go an entire year without being discovered? Just how far will Severus go to find the writer of those letters...Or are some things best left unknown?

    I've been so absorbed in this story for the past two days! I stayed up hours later than I usually do, simply unable to put it down. I really hope that you intended to finish it someday.

    One question I have: why did Toby's magic bring him to Harry instead of, say, into the street outside the orphanage? Did it simply take him to the nearest magical, or did it recognize the family connection between him and his brother? Maybe, since it was accidental, it also sensed his desire for a family and took him there?
