About me:

I've been reading fanfiction for years, and I've written a few pieces in other fandoms, as well as some drabbles and ficlets for the HP fandom, but mostly I have been a reader. For the Boy Who Has Everything is my first attempt at a full-length fic. Three Times Trouble is a response to my sudden inexplicable enjoyment of kidfic.

My favorite characters are Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, Sirius Black, Neville Longbottom, and the elder two Weasley children, Bill and Charlie (whom we just don't see enough of, unfortunately). Many of the younger characters became more interesting to me as they grew older.

I like to theorize about how things work, especially things that aren't well explained in the books. Such as:

- How and why does a Patronus take the shape it does, when a wizard first learns the spell? How would a Patronus change its shape (e.g.; Tonks' and Snape's)? Does it take the shape of the other person's Patronus, or just a shape that the first person associates with them? If the other person is still alive, does that mean that now there are two identical Patronuses?

- Since some wands are specifically good for certain types of magic, does that mean wands choose their owner based on an inborn talent or potential?

- If people have minds, souls, and magic, how distinct are the three things? A piece of soul seems to possess both a mind and magic, although it isn't clear how much of each comes from the actual soul fragment and how much is purposely spelled into the object that contains the soul fragment. The horcruxes that reacted poorly to being messed with (e.g.: diary, locket) were most likely spelled to do that. However, the horcrux in Harry managed to impart magical skills, suggesting there may be some magic within the soul itself.

- What makes some magic stick around for centuries and not lose power, while other magic wears off over time, or ends abruptly when the spell-caster dies?

So far, this is the best start to a de-aging fic that I've ever read. Snape is hilariously hysterical without being over the top. Dumbledore's perfect.

Author's Response: Why, thank you very much!! That means a lot! Glad you're enjoying it!!! :D

When Poppy has finally had enough, Hogwarts undergoes a drastic search and rescue procedure, and secrets are revealed. The aftermath finds Harry bare and exposed, and searching for something to hold.

Very interesting take on abused!Harry. I really liked Snape and Ron in this, and Hermione too.

Sirius and Remus have raised Harry since he was little. When Harry starts Hogwarts, Snape calls a conference to discuss his abominable behaviour. Just how will our favourite Marauders react to that!? Response to ObsidianEmbrace’s challenge of the same name. Dedicated to Laura Hisel, AYC’s 1000th reviewer!

The end made me so sad. Somehow, I expected something like that to happen. You can't really blame Snape for being able to talk himself into not wanting Harry, but it's still sad. Sirius is hilarious in this. It's kind of amazing Harry isn't ten times worse after being raised by him. :-)

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! Ohhh, I think you are the only person who expected it, so congrats to you! In the first draft, Harry was worse and I made him a bit more like Sirius, but then I read through and decided that it wasn't very in character for Harry and that Remus would have been the counter-balance to Sirius and kept Harry on the straight and narrow. Good ol' Remus!

Everyone makes mistakes, even great men like Dumbledore. But was placing six-year-old Harry Potter with Severus Snape the biggest mistake of them all? Or maybe…it could work out after all. Entrant in the 2009 Prompt Fest. Prompts: Bravery is Overrated and Boggart Under the Bed.

Poor Snape. They always get him right where they want him in the end. :-P

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! Poor Snape indeedy, he gets manipulated into doing everything! He should soon find out that this job is not as bad as he imagines though!

Harry, once again, forgets to look before he leaps. Entrant in the 2009 Prompt Fest. Prompts: ‘He crawled through the long, tall grass on his hands and knees.’ and ‘Hang on tight, and don’t let go.'

I really enjoyed this story. It does need a teeny bit of editing to polish it (some minor errors), but overall it was extremely well written and very enjoyable. I like that it was kind of campy and over the top while underneath it all it was actually fairly serious. And, of course, both getting rid of Umbridge and preventing disaster at the Ministry was a great way to end. Great job!

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed! Thank you for letting me know about the editing - I was rushing a bit towards the end and had a feeling I'd missed something. Thanks for your review!

Take one Severus Snape, one baby Potter, and one insane Headmaster; simmer gently and stir well. Don't forget to duck! AU Oneshot. Entrant in the 2009 Prompt Fest. Prompts: "Duck!" and Headmaster Potter

Absolutely not what I expected given either the prompt or the summary! That was hilarious and brilliant! I wish there was more, though I guess that was a good place to end it. :-)
