- Great story, autumn! I love how mature Harry is and how he tells Al the truth and helps him to be open-minded. If more people had been more open-minded in the past, perhaps the Slytherins wouldn't have felt so isolated. Perhaps more of them would have openly embraced the light side. Hopefully, this new generation can overcome the prejudices and set things right within Hogwarts.

- This is a really great story! And yes, it's just begging to be continued! I love your insight into Harry's emotions and thoughts, how he just couldn't help but send the letter off with Hedwig, how he longs for a father and a real family.
I'd love to read more!

- Oh, I'm really enjoying this! It's an intriguing twist with the whole class and Severus locked up by the castle itself. I like how you've thought through the details, how Dumbledore's spell confused the castle and it shut itself down, and the effect of the exploding potion sealing off the dungeons. It's very curious how their magic has stopped working too.
It's a very realistic portrayal, how everyone is tense and worrried, but thankfully they're keeping it under control so far. I can understand Severus' dread that he might have to comfort panic-stricken students, especially Gryffindors! In spite of the tense atmosphere, that thought made me smile. I feel sorry for Theodore and of course for Harry, both so worried about their classmates discovering their nightmares.
Hopefully this will lead to new understandings between the Slytherins and the Gryffindors, as well as with Harry and Severus. I can only imagine everyone's shock when the kids all emerge as best friends now, lol.
I hope they can find some food soon, though! Great chapter again and I'm looking forward to more.

- Whew, I'm relieved that Harry's all right, not to make light of it; growing pains can be horrible and for him to experience such a drastic change at once would mean severe pain. But at least it was treatable and he's better now.
I really liked the conversation between Severus and Harry. It was very real for this early stage. Both of them are still feeling their way and are unsure of each other. But the end, with Severus giving Harry the book from his grandparents, was lovely.

- Another great chapter! You have written both Harry's and Severus' thoughts and emotions so well. Of course they are still stunned and uncertain. The past is between them, and both are wondering if it can be overcome. I did love the part where Severus acknowledged that he had fallen in love with his son and that he wanted to get to know him. Knowing Harry, I believe he will give Severus another chance.
But now I'm worried for him, poor kid. It's always something for him, isn't it?

- Oh, what a shock for the both of them! Poor Harry and poor Severus, to have had all those years stolen from them. I can understand why Lily made her choice, but I can't help but be heart-broken for Sev and Harry. How different everything could have been.
I am glad that Severus is affected by Dumbledore's words, for DD is quite right and I know it's still not too late for them to have a wonderful and close relationship. It may be difficult at first, but Harry is extraordinarily forgiving and if Severus lets him know that he has changed, I know Harry would meet him more than halfway.

- A great beginning, Missyanne! It's very believable how Harry feels contaminated from his own guilt, though of course he's wrong. It's sad how he is trying to use the abuse from the Dursleys as a means of atonement, even though he has nothing to atone for, poor kid.

- That was a sweet letter from Lily. I loved how Harry noted that she had called him 'love' and how moved he was just by thinking that she had touched the paper. I definitely have a feeling that Harry is in for a shock! And Severus too!
