- Damn, this was good. I especially liked the plot device that was 'It'. That was a cool idea and totally made sense. Also, I liked that you kept Snape in character. He's still a bastard, just a bastard with a soft spot (somewhat soft) for Harry. Anyways, well done and thanx for the awesome read!
When Harry finds an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.
Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

- Wow. That's really what comes to mind first. The thing that stands out the most to me is your grasp of emotions. You seem to be able to write them so well. Not just writing about them but describing everything (facial expression, body language, eyes, etc) so that the reader really understands the emotions that the characters are feeling. You really let us see into the characters' minds and that is the most important aspect of writing I think. You have it down pat so, kudos! Your plot is wonderful. I really like the whole 'Harry as a seer' thing, that is so cool! Basically, I love this story, you rock! Thanx for the awesome read, please update soon!
Following the 7th book Severus Snape is very much alive on the Christmas after his youngest grandson starts Hogwarts. In fact, he's spending that Christmas at the Burrow with his son and grandchildren plus the entire Weasley clan.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I am planning a sequel to this as soon as I finish one of my other stories, Heir to Prince Manor. In the sequel Severus, Harry, and Remus and Aria and Neil all go to New Orleans (pre-Katrina) on vacation and meet all kinds of people, including vampires, werewolves, and a group of nasty voodoo priests.
A summer road trip through Muggle America comes to a halt when the car that Ron, Hermione, and Harry have purchased breaks down. Walking to the nearest gas station, Harry encounters the last person he thought he ever wanted to see…and his 1987 Camaro. But there’s a side to Severus Snape that no one knows about: a free riding rebel that would rather don older rock tees than robes and still breaks rules wherever he can.
