At the Dursleys the summer after Sirius' death, Voldemort sends werewolves to attack Harry. Taken to Grimmauld Place by his rescuer, Severus Snape, Harry devises a disastrous plan to rescue Sirius from the veil, resulting in his being transfigured into a baby. Snape is the only one who can brew the potion to restore him, and is the only one to realize that Harry still retains his 16 year-old-mind. Over the summer and the first two potions which restore him to age eleven, Harry begins to feel that Snape is the only one who understands and can protect him. Is he right or has his deaging muddled his thinking? AU story for 6th year.

    Brilliant writing. The character's were well fleshed out and realistic. Love parental Remus and his/ your quote "mostly I just say whatever sounds good." Great laugh. Had wished to see more of the bidding friendships across house's and their effects on the war, adults (parents) reactions, etc.

    Thank you. I'm glad you liked that line - it's rather a favorite of mine, too.

    I do agree that it would have been nice to explore the interhouse friendships and cooperation more, however, I felt that for this tale, it had reached its close. If I ever write a sequel, however, that is definitely something I will explore.

    Very well written. I loved the family bonding and the characterization of Severus. You have written a well paced relationship between Harry and Severus. I've read too many were Harry and Snape immediately hit it off. Had hoped there was a sequel though *sad face*

    Author's Response: I've been struggling with writing anything lately, so even thinking of a sequel at this point is a lot of work. I've recently made a few breakthroughs with writing, which will hopefully continue. Thank you for reading this, and letting me know what you liked about it, and that you are interested in a sequel.
