- Ugh, I stayed up past two last night looking for a good story that captured my attention, I finally find this and have to come back the next day because I'm too tired to read past the first chappie!
Lol, I really liked this chapter. It was nice to see Snape well enough to insult Harry, hehe.
I'm kind of surprised no one showed Harry any sympathy over his relatives dying...no sad looks of 'I'm sorry's'. I know Harry didn't love them much, if at all, but no one really knows a lot about that do they?

- Wow, wonderfully written! It grabbed my attention--the only thing that kept me from completely immersed, is when I read 'Voldemort giggled darkly' *snicker*.
Giggle makes me think girly, so I grinned when I read it, ^_^ Maybe chuckled?

Brilliant so far! Can you tell me if Harry will be captured later by DE's? Or was the torture warning because of Snape only? Just curious, :)

Author's Response: To be honest, as far as the torture goes, it was mostly for the opening scene with Snape. Plus, I just wanted to err on the side of caution having never posted here before. There's actually not a lot of profanity, either, but I didn't want to offend anyone by not listing that as something to watch out for. As for Harry? You'll have to keep reading!

- ^_^ Cute begining! There were a few mistakes, in the begining you spelt amusement wrong. Commas were needed in a few places, and here 'Hermione beamed. “Yeah! And maybe he’dlet you guys come too!”' there is a space needed between he'd and let. You might consider getting a beta. Everyone can use another pair of eyes to catch mistakes we miss! :)

I really, really liked it. Are you sure this is your first story? The emotions were amazing, the chapter was long, Snape managed to stay in character and yet be helpful when Harry was in a time of need and Draco is perfect!
