Snape is left dying in the Shrieking Shack after giving Harry his memories convinced that Harry is going to his death. When Snape dies, he is given a chance to send his soul backwards in time seven years to give Harry a chance for a better (and hopefully longer) life. Will switch back and fourth between being Snape centered and Harry centered.

- lol, awesomeness to harry finding salazar. a little too "convenient" but whatev.
Author's Response: I know its too convenient but Salazar is going to be used for more then just giving Snape info about the potion. Expect a trip to the Chamber of Secrets and Slytherin's office.

- yeah, the resurrection stone thing was a new idea, but that won't be harry's only use of the stone, realistically. as a distraction, it could, like the mirror of erised, prove detrimental
Author's Response: I know. Dumbledore is going to find out about the stone shortly. He is defenitly going to talk to Harry (and Severus) about the stone. He won't take it way, but he will be tempted.
Severus is haunted by nightmares of Lily the summer before Harry's third year. Lily desperately wants him to do something. Can he do it? Can he make things right?

- the ooc sev is okay for the most part- like the train ride was good in the beginning- but the whole happy-go-lucky intro was kind of cheesy. other than that, however, i like the story. the twins meeting harry and snape is kind of cool. like a twist or whatever. anyway, i hope you update soon because although this chapter wasn't my fav, in general it's really quite good

Thanks. I'll probably do a rewrite when I'm finished, so I'll take into consideration what you said. I'm glad you think my story is good, that's really great to hear.
Hopefully you'll like the next chapter better. (So far there will be a Potions lesson and a chat with Remus, but I'll probably write more stuff in, like the first appearance of Draco.) :)

- this is getting really good, though I wish your chapters were longer (actually, normally i'd say i wish you would update faster, but that doesn't seem fair when i know you update your story more than i update mine, plus more than most people update. i just REALLY want to know what happens)

Hehe. Thanks, I'm so glad you like it! And about longer chapters...well,I've a bad case of writer's block. (Not plot-block mind you. I know what's going to happen, I just can't seem to get the thoughts to sound right on paper.) So, I'm having a hard time trying to get at least 1300 words for a chapter. So, for right now, shorter chapters will be the best I can do. But I'm working on it. Hopefully, I can get them longer. I'll try!
You'll find out what happens soon, I promise! Next chapter should be up by the end of the week! :)

Sometimes it's just a matter of flow. The chapter needs to stop somewhere and that was the logical place based on the next chapter and the chapter after that. Undoubtedly I could have written more and turned two chapters into one, but trust me, then you would have even longer to wait!
Unfortunately real life keeps me very busy these days. Glad you liked it though, and thanks for reviewing!

- this was a really good chapter. I liked how they both missed each other, and I thought Arthur was great with Harry. I can't wait until next chapter which, I'm sure, will have more Harry/Snape interaction.
