Hey Y'all,

I'm Lizzie, a computer science college student who is slowly going insane with all of the schoolwork I have to do, but who loves Harry Potter with a passion.

My user name, just in case you are wondering is pronunced LAY-lee-Uh. I got the name from an old (by now) Star Wars book, and then modified it slightly. ;-}

My favorite character is probably Severus, followed closely by a "good" Draco.

I love Severus/Lily fics, young Harry and Sev fics (father and guardian) and creature fics.

Two of the best creature fics that I have found are Cub by Jadie which is about Sev and Harry being sphinx and is absolutely incredible.

The other story is Changes by SilverWolf7 which is about our favorite professor trying to guide his son as his son begins to become a vampire. This story badly needs a sequel, it is just too good. ;-}

One of my all-time favorite stories though has to be The Better Man by Laume. It asks the question of what would have happened if Sev hadn’t gone over to the Dark Lord’s side. And features many elements that I haven’t seen in other stories such as; good Dursleys, Harry and Dudley growing up as brothers, and a magic Dudley (okay, I have seen the last one before, but only in one other story).

I am mostly a lurker, but I love to write, it's just that I will get halfway through a story and get stuck. I also don't think that my stories are all that good; I may post one someday... I finally posted a story! It is Not Quite so Terrible, and I wrote it for Prompt Fest 2009. Please take a look at it and let me know what you think.

I have had several people ask me to continue Not Quite so Terrible, so I’m going to give it a shot and try to keep it going. If anyone has a scene or idea of something that they would like me to include in one of the chapters, please message me and let me know.

    When Harry and Snape get back to their quarters, Harry is going to be one dead duck.

    I loved how Harry came to Severus's rescue, and then Severus was very clearly ready to kill for Harry/Freedom.
    I just hope that Severus will forgive Harry for "deceiving" him.

    As always, great chapter. And I have to say that you astound me with how fast you are putting out these absolutely amazing chapters.

    Okay, this review is going to be a long one. ;-}

    First off, I love the line: "Now Umbridge would learn the truth all students knew-screwing with Snape was like baiting a Hungarian Horntail-either way you ended up dead."
    When I first read that I almost fell off the couch. Absolutely Brilliant!! I love it!!
    How do you come up with stuff like this? Incredible!

    I have to say I was supprised when Umbridge tried to get away by running out of the castle. Great twist, I really wasn't expecting her to do that. ;-}
    Also I have a question, you said that "she (Umbridge) threw back her head and let loose with a magically amplified banshee screech." Does this mean that the High Wicked Bigot actually had creature blood? This might explain why she is so against them and some of her looks too. ;-}

    I also loved Minerva worked it out so that Harry and Severus could work together and spend more time with each other. Her line though: "No need to thank me. I think this is both what you need." I can imagine Severus and Harry's expressions right about then. Too too funny. ;-}

    As always, Superb chapter. And I can't wait to see what happens next.

    That line just . . .popped into my head.  It's sheer improvisation, I don;t know where I get it from.  It's not planned.

    Oh, I forgot something. What on Earth was that thing that killed/ate Umbridge?
    A Stymphalian Bird? Did you come up with that or did you find it somewhere?
    I thought that it was a wonderful way to kill off the Toad, by having her eaten by a gigantic bird.
    Another thing, does Hagrid know that this thing is in his forest? ;-} I was just wondering if it was another one of his "pets" ;-}

    No, it comes from Greek mythology, it's not my creation.  More about it will be learned next chapter.

    Yes, hagrid knows, but the Stymphalian Bird isn't anyone's pet.

    So happy you liked her demise.  I was originally going to have her eaten by a griffin, but changed my mind when I remember the Stymphalian Bird.

    I love it!

    Great first chapter. I can't wait to see what is going to happen next in Harry and Severus's lives.

    What's the matter with Ron and Hermione? I hope that Harry and Ginny are able to talk some sense into those two. ;-}

    I liked the part with Severus and the Dursleys. You know that you nearly gave me a heart attack when Vernon came up on Harry. I thought that he had to be a dementor for a few minutes.
    Great job writing the confrontation between Sev, Vernon, and Petunia by the way. ;-}

    I love the little dragon. I know that Harry will always have Hedwig, but I think that he needs some type of pet that can keep him company all the time, even when Hedwig is doing mail runs.
    I loved the line from Harry to the kylaria, "I’m not dinner". I have caught myself saying that to my leopard gecko, who I would imagine is about the same size. "Just don't chew on me..." ;-}
    What would the kylaria eat? chrickets or fish or vegatables?
    I love the idea of the little dragons and now I wish that I could have one. ;-}
    One other really quick question. Can he fly? It would be great if he could and then Harry could go flying with him... Just a thought. ;-}

    Yep, our little kylaria friend can fly--he shall next chapter.  :o)  And he and Harry will have lots of fun together. Yeah, I wish I had too.  I'm quite fond of this little guy already.  Oh, and he eats fruits and veggies, our little Kylaria (mostly, though he does enjoy an occasional small insect for a treat). 

    LOL  Vernon was pretty scary, I admit.  I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway, despite the fear.   :o)  And more Ron and Hermione coming up next.  Thanks so much for such a nice review.  Glad you're excited for the story.

    O dear.
    I hope Harry can keep his temper under control. ;-}

    Looks like Severus is going to be having that "chat" with Mr. & Mrs. Weasley after all. ;-} I hope that they listen to him.

    I'm not entirely sure about Harry going to fly with the Cannons.
    Something about Owen just seems to rub me the wrong way. I just don't trust him.
    I would bet that he was the one to tell that story to the press. Because I know that the Weasleys wouldn't have done something like that, neither would Daniel. And I'm sure that Draco wouldn't have, especially as he seems to be trying very hard to be friends with Harry.
    Which brings up a question, did Draco decide to be friends/friendly with Harry because he found out that they are related, or some other reason?

    As always, I love the story, and can't wait to see the next chapter.

    Brilliant. This chapter was just what I needed to distract me from getting frustrated over finals and homework. ;-}

    I loved seeing Severus act so fatherly over Harry (and also somewhat Tom).

    The other thing that I loved was Lucius in his new "job". Poor man. ;-} I thought that it was funny that he had to have his house-elf come out to help him. ;-}
    The other thing that I thought was brilliant was the alias you picked for him. It took me a few seconds, but once I picked it up I laughed out loud. Very clever. ;-}

    All in all, I loved the chapter and I can't wait to see the next one.

    Great chapter.
    I couldn't wait to see what would happen between Severus and Dumbledore, and you provided a superb chapter.

    I was waiting for Severus to get back to Harry so he could tell him that he is Harry's father, but you ended it too soon. Noo!! ;-} I guess that means that I'll just have that much more to look forward to in the next chapter. ;-}

    I think that Sev was very wise in saying that Minerva was to included in the meeting with Dumbledore.
    I have no doubt that Dumbles is not going to go down or let go of his control of Harry without a fight.

    I love the story, and can't wait for the next chapter. ;-}

    Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the showdown between Sev and Dumbledore. You weren't the only one waiting for Sev to return and tell Harry, but it deserved its own chapter and I didn't want the scene rushed at the end of a chapter. 

    Sev was very wise to include Minerva in the inevitable meeting. It's always good to have someone to watch your back, plus it does concern Minerva as well.

    Ick. I'm sorry for the tests and homework. I feel your pain, especially since I really need to be working on mine, but we won't discuss that will we? ;-}

    On to the review:
    I love this story!!
    This is my first Deaged!Sev story that I have read, I have read a ton of Deaged!Harry and Deaged!Draco stories, bot this is the first Sev story. And I have to say that I absolutely love it!
    I really like your take on how Sev's mind works now, how he has all of his memories, but none of the "learned behaviors". How did you come up with that? It is brilliant.

    Also, I loved how Sev nailed Sirius's nose. I can just imagine Sirius leaning in to take a closer look at Sev to see if it is really him, and then, Bam. ;-}

    I also loved that you included one of my favorite stores. IKEA!! And then you had Harry and Ginny have one of my all time favorite foods at IKEA, the meatballs!

    All of that to say, I really love the story and can't wait for the next chapter.
