"Read Read me a story, pleeaze Dad" drawn for my Never Again story, by artist SnapesYukuai. Picture refers to the incident where Harry brings his stuffed panther Inky to life through accidental magic. This took place just before that.

- Wow that was very interesting at the end there. It's too bad Harry didn't develop some potion that could have saved Severus from the snake at the end. But I'm so happy he married Hermione and they named their children SEverus and Lily and they ended up in Slytherin.
I had to laugh though at the beginning, when Harry starts to study and realizes that he's actually learning something! It really DOES help if you read the material!
I also was wondering if Harry ever ended up with Snape's potion book in sixth year and if he could then recognize whose it was because he'd worked so closely with the Professor?
Sometimes it also helps if you work one on one with the teacher. It focuses you and I'm glad that Harry foudn the desire to learn so important. So many people don't, as I know because I taught many students who didn't care a bit about learning English. It's really frustrating as a teacher trying to teach students who just don't give a damn.

Somehow Snape surviving didn't seem right in this story. It was suppose to be more canon, even though it was Harmony and Harry's children end up in Slytherin.
A lot of the other studens in my class were freaking out about exams and most of them never bothered to read the textbook. That might have helped a bit. :)THe Half Blood Prince book is an interesting question, maybe a good oneshot for the future.

- Aww, what a sweet story!
I liked how you incorporated the flashbacks into the story, they were great!
I also enjoyed how Harry defended Severus and the Slytherins instead of that lame excuse he told him in the Epilogue.
And I'm happy Al is in Slytherin after all1 It's about time.
Is the raven Severus in disguise? Maybe an Animagus form? Or maybe his spirit is inside the raven?

I had a rather difficult time attempting to write this (this was my...third? rewrite). Yeah, I didn't like that lame excuse in the Epilogue either. I thought that Al should be in Slytherin-it just seemed to fit. Yep, the raven is Severus...I was leaning towards an Animagus form but that that's to be intrepreted by the reader. :-D Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, it means a lot! :-D

- What a great first chapter! Ron, Harry, and Severus are well IC and I love how the boys act with each other and with Severus. They are the perfect blend of mischief and curiosity and daring. Love how Snape handles them too, he's a great dad. His scene with Ron when Ron wanted to run away was wonderful and so was the way he handled Harry's jealousy! What a lovely present to find when I came back from my vacation! Thanks!

- Aww this chapter was really cute!
I liked how Snape dealt with the boys, especially Ron, at breakfast, and the clock was really funny. I could see it being thrown out a window by Ron sometime in the future.
I also liked how they watched cartoons, I grew up with all of them and it brings back sso many memories. I love how Snape uses Inspector Gadget, one of my favs, to get Harry to smile. His response to Harry saying he hated him was also very good.
I also liked his explanation of why Ron couldn't stay with his mum and Ginny and his patience in dealing with the bickering. The church was good too, I can see them going there on Sunday like regular Muggles, since JKR did say that wizards believed in God in an interview, so why wouldn't they go to church? Chapel was an important part of a morning routine in most private schools in England, like Eton and Harrow, they have beautiful churches there.
Can't wait to see what happens next and hope you can continue this soon! I'm loving it!

- This is a great beginning. I like how the mirror is a portal to the past and how it warns Harry to be careful what he wishes for--he just might get it . . . and not like it.
Harry doesn't even know what a can of worms he's opened now, but he's about to find out. Can't wait to read the rest of this!

- I love the picture! It really does look like a young Snape.
I had to laugh at Harry, trying to tell Snape not to touch Lily. And he really should have kept quiet and watched instead of introducing himself like that. He might have interfered with the time stream.
Where will Harry go now?

- I'm glad Harry saved Snape from James and Sirius. Father or godfather or not, what they were doing was wrong and Harry was right to step in and help. Harry would never condone bullying like that and I also like how you got round the whole Underage Use of Magic rule.
Very clever!
I also like how you described Snape's house and room, it sounds very realistic.

- So the mirror keeps jumping about in time with Harry. I'm surprised it didn't show him that scene with James and Sirius setting Sev's pants on fire. That would have dispelled any doubt about how awful James was a t this age.
I hope Severus can save Lily.
