I really liked how everyone helped retrieve the stone and all. Hermione kissing Harry was cute. I had her do that in my fic Arms of A Dark Angel. I like putting them together, they have a good rapport. I also loved the scene between Severus and Lily. So sweet and Sev is so funny with his insecurities. But I like that much better than being a braggart in a man. There's no greater turn off for a woman than to have a guy boast that he's all that and God's gift, know what I mean? I liked how Severus scolded and yelled at all of the kids afterwards. Will he give Draco a few smacks too like he did Harry? Great last scene! When they get married, all the kids could be at the wedding, if they do it at school. FYI--I've updated Lily's Defender on ff.net
I loved the way that both Houses got the Cup and everyone got awarded points. I also liked how everyone's parents were there and they all got rewards and punishments. The wedding was beautiful. I loved them dancing together as a family. From the many weddings I've attended, dancing in a group is the most fun. Nobody's looking at you directly like they are when you dance with a partner, and everyone is just having a good time. The tarantella is my favorite group dance, you can also do it individually with a partner, but it's the best with a bunch of people to form the circle. It's a traditional Southern Italian dance, I learned it when I was three and it's the only dance I can do without looking like a clumsy idiot. It's true what they say about redheads, it's even truer what they say about Italian women, they have even worse tempers! And you really don't want to know what a redhaired Italian woman is like when she gets started! The last line was great, and I loved Severus showing Harry how to tie a tie. That's something I learned how to do watching my brother.
Spend the day with three-year Harry and his stern yet loving father, our very dear Severus Snape. Read about how little Harry wraps the Potions Master around his tiny finger. Is complete for now. I'll add more chapters later if any ideas strike! Reviews always help!

Don't worry if your interpretation of Snape is a little . . . soft. He's not canon Snape, who never was allowed to love anyone and was made into a butter man by suffering endlessly for a single mistake. This Snape obviously changed because of love and forgiveness, two things which can really give hope to a person's spirit and teach them to feel joy and not anger or hate. You're doing a great job, please continue! Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review, I'm a huge fan of your stories so I'm really excited that you sent me a review! I'm glad that you can tell that I tried to portray Severus in a softer version. :) I love Severus just the way he is but I figured that he deserves some happiness, yh? Anways thank you so much! I really appreciate your review! Harry Potter has homework on a weekend. Typical right? Well he doesn't think so! Especially when it's about the famous wizard Merlin and there isn't a scrap of information on him. Maybe! Just maybe, his Dad can help!
I realized I only updated part of the story the first time....so here's all of it! Takes Place: 7th summer - Snape flavour: None Tags: Adoption, Alternate Universe Categories: Parental Snape > Biological Father Snape

If I were Severus, I'd tell Harry to look up British legends and read Mallory's Morte d'Arthur and several other classic works. I'm sure Hogwarts library should have such books, seeing as he's their premiere wizard. But if not, then maybe Sev could take Harry into Muggle Edinburgh and go to a public library, they're bound to have info there about who he was. I personally like Mary Stewart's novels The Crystal Cave, The Hollow Hills, and The Last Enchantment, for a series that blends historical fiction with magic. Sorry Arthurian legends is one of my all time loves, I've read almost everything on the subject. A few small typos I noticed: he felt the man’s state aimed --should be stare when did you had --should be have Other than that, keep writing! Author's Response: thanks you are one of my fav. writers on here! i plan on doing another oneshot with this or a prequeal of sorts when i find the time lol! i love merlin to and arthur of course! there is a program on syfy called merlin by bbc season one and two are out and three just got done while four wil be showed in late 2012! most of my ff.net stoires are merlin thought all of the mup untill 30ish are bad becuse i did not have a beta at the time!
thanks again for the reveiw! This story is Completely AU!
Before leaving Hogwarts, Lily Evans and Molly Prewit made a pact...little did they know that it would one day save Harry's life... Author's Response: thanks Kathy! Severus was trying to brew a potion that could help him preserve the life of his loved ones, however when testing it on himself intending for it to just take off two years of his life it took off about...hmm...thirty.

It was almost funny though that Minerva was freaking out that much. Good start and now I need to see what happens next.
Harry's doing a great job with him, but I'm afraid Sirius will undo all that and scare Sevvy. In that case if Remus doesn't come and kick his ass for it then I'll transport myself into the story and do it for him! I loved the part with the chocolate frogs too that was really cute!
It's strange that Sirius thinks Snape got off free with what he had done and is still doing for the Order. Does he think it's easy for Snape to go back to a man he hates and pretend to enjoy doing things for the sicko? Does he really think Snape doesn't blame himself for Lily's death? That he's not in torment every day for it? I felt so bad for Sev, having those horrible dreams! Maybe Sirius could see him like that, in the throes of a nightmare, and then he would realize the kid never had it easy, not ever.
I loved the conversation between Snape and Harry, it was really sweet. |
