Slytherin!
"Read Read me a story, pleeaze Dad" drawn for my Never Again story, by artist SnapesYukuai. Picture refers to the incident where Harry brings his stuffed panther Inky to life through accidental magic. This took place just before that.
Severus was trying to brew a potion that could help him preserve the life of his loved ones, however when testing it on himself intending for it to just take off two years of his life it took off about...hmm...thirty.

- Poor Sev! That's terrible, although I think his child mind feared his father and didn't know how to process it while his adult self feared going dark and maybe even being alone also.
I'm surprised that boggarts don't change as a person grows, because your fear as a child probably would be the same as an adult.
I'm glad Sirius finally got the wake up call.
Author's Response: Always made me wonder what Harry would see in a Boggart after the war...when you think about what does he have left to fear? Hmm...I t hink you just inspired me for my next one-shot!!!

- This was really sweet. I liked mooney's present and am glad Sev will have some fun shopping. I'M also glad Harry told off Sirius for his stupidity towards Sev while in school. It was something he needed to hear.

- Aww, that was really cute! But that card game sounds complicated, then again Sev is a genius.
I agree with Harry, there should be a way to help Severus when he changes back so he's not forced to bear all the burdens of a spy alone. Dumbledore should allow Severus to leave if he wants and to not make him feel guilty about it. Everyone needs a break or else Severus will crack.
As for Sev not remembering what happened while he was deaged, Harry needs to put the memories of him and Severus in a Pensieve so Severus can view them just in case he loses them when he's changed back.
Harry should also realize that Severus was half-starved during his childhood and know that he can't handle normal amounts of food. Just like Harry probably couldn't when he got to school.

- I really enjoyed reading this! It was emotional and yet touching, Severus was right on all levels, and it was good for him to tell Harry the truth about everything. Keeping the kid in the dark was what led to so many misunderstandings between him and Snape.
I liked how Harry accepted him and hope that they will write to each other over break, they both need each other.
After the war, harry wants to give Snape a proper burial. He finds the potions master clinging to life, he takes it upon himself to help Sev live in a world he never expected to see.

- What an interesting start. But Harry better make sure Sev doesn't have access to his wand, otherwise he could end up getting hexed if Sev is in a temper! Will Sev regain use of his voice eventually?
Will the Ministry try and arrest him for the supposed murder of Dumbledore? Then Harry will have to show them the memories or something. I can foresee much happening between them, as they finally have time to talk and clear up old misconceptions.

Thanks so much for your kind review, I am working on the next chapter but am very busy with work, school and the holidays are driving me nuts. I will continue this I promise. Also Snape will regain his voice in time and through their relationship will be strained at first Harry and Snape will come to an understanding.

- Great job with this chapter. I'm so happy Harry explained everything to Severus and he knows that Harry won't abuse him or anything.
I'm also glad to see there won't be a repeat of Sirius trying to beat down Severus. Remus though . . .is going to have his hands full. I pity him, I really do!
Alby is really sweet and I think he and Sev will get along fine.
Looking forward to when Lily makes an appearance. And I can't wait until Draco learns who Harry's new "son" is!
