I like that there aren't any gruesome torture scene.
What brave little souls. I love that the mini trio had to combine their magic to send out a patronus. Now I wanna see Harry and co deal out some justice to Goyle, but maybe go easier on the other two.
What happens when Harry really is as naughty as Snape thinks he is? Why is Harry acting this way and what will the staff do about it? In particular, what will Harry do when he finds out all of his detentions are now being assigned solely to Professor Snape? In response to the ‘Bad Harry’ challenge.

Sirius does something to Harry that he shouldnt and he shatters the poor boy's last hope of finally having a family. He's lost and hurt and terrfied with no one to turn to. No one but the man who has made his life miserable anyway he could. How can Snape help Harry,when he hates him himself; or does he?

- Wow, that was an awesome chapter. Harry is a fragile little guy isn't he. He can face down basilisks and voldemort but when it comes to family, its a different story. Snape is really out of his depth isn't he. Ah well, you live you learn. Now he just needs to find Harry and give him a big hug, apologize profusely and praise him for the spotless room while informing him that he is not a house-elf or housekeeper.

O.o wow, I can't believe Albus said that. He will have to earn their trust back this time.
I think the old guy needs a vacation. He just needs sometime to relax and peel off all the stress that's sticking to him like wet toilet paper.
Harry has come back to Hogwarts for his second year and something is...off. Harry has tried as hard as he can to keep everything secret and hidden, but people who are watching him know something is wrong.

- The wizarding child welfare system needs some serious reforms.
Author's Response: Unfortunately, the current children welfare system today is very much like this. Not every detail or ever instance! But, my grandmother is a social worker and she unfortunately seeing people take children in for the wrong reasons everyday and sometimes doesn't have the choice of telling them no. Either it's for the money, looking good to friends or some other self gain. It's kind of sad that these people slip through the cracks. Again, this is not everyone who adopts or is a foster parent! There are wonderful parents who foster and adopt out there and they are amazing people!
After helping Draco Malfoy escape the custody of Sirius Black, Harry endures the wrath of his Godfather. When Snape comes looking for Draco, Harry tells him that Draco has run away, and that he won’t tell him where Draco is unless Snape takes Harry with him. **Note** I'm aware that some of you don't like bad!Sirius stories. Don't worry, Sirius isn't actually in the story much, however there is redemption in the end. It's not so much that he's just bad, more that he's fallen. This story is about how people fall, and how they can make it back out in the end, getting a second chance. It is NOT a character bashing story.

- wow JA! this is fantastic. So many good things in this chapter. Love it. that last convo between Sev and Harry was very realistic.
It's endearing really, and heartwarming how their relationship is developing. Im glad Harry got to open up to Snape and they got to talk about some of Harry's worries.
