    Hey that's not fair at all! Harry didn't even nick those supplies! Grrrr. You know August and Snape have a lot in common.

    Interesting that Snape seemingly had no reaction at all to Harry when he said that defence tactics was one he struggled with because of the unfair treatment. I'll be looking forward that tutoring session Harry has with Snape

    Seriously though, he has a serious saving people compulsion. and wow, Snape was almost...affectionate the way he said 'wreckless gryffindor'. Like he was totally exasperated, but can't help but be relieved that Harry is alright. and maybe a little proud.

Harry has a little problem, followed by a little freak out, and compounded by a confusing conversation with the Sorting Hat, who has special things in mind for him and Professor Snape. A (sort of) Christmas story as a lot of it revolves around Harry's wish for a good Christmas. [About the selected warnings] most of those were just to be safe. The Dursley's and their abuse is hardly mentioned, the corporal punishment is for the way the other students treat Harry (as well as the violence warning), and the limited use of profanity is mild.

    I agree about Ron and Hermione being just kids and human. I'm not sure about Snape being human though. I'm still trying to work that out. He has the emotional range of a fruit bat.
