Response to Burned Hedwig Challenge... After blowing up his aunt, Harry's uncle abuses him farther than his mental capacity can stand. Even his cousin is concerned, and sends a letter by way of owl "To Whom It May Concern" pleading for his cousins sake for help. But Harry needs more than to be taken from his family. He needs to gain the will to live.

- I absolutely love this story so far! I've never read a story where Dudley came along before except one of my own about Dudley where he ended up in the Wizarding world.
Just a question: You mentioned Dudley will be going to hogwarts... he's not a wizard, so will he be going to school there? Or is he a wizard and you haven't said it yet?
I've noticed a few spelling errors now and again, but nothing too serious. Keep up the great work!

- I really wanted to read this story, but the format is bothering me. It's ok to be different, but I just don't like the format of Harry telling the story like this to the entire school. It just seems not plausible to air his laundry like this in front of the entire school... in front of a friend maybe but not all the young kids and everyone.
Snape punishes Harry for the debacle at the Shrieking Shack, and gets far more than he bargained for.

- I understand that you said CP was normal in the wizarding world, but that's a lot of corporal punishment, even for people to whom it is acceptable. Generally one or two spanks is enough. Even then, spankings on top of a lecture and a long time out is quite unnecessary. Aside from that Harry wasn't even given a warning. Good parenting practice is to at least give a child a warning to stop whatever it is they're doing first and then punish later if they continue the bad behavior they've been warned about. Harry is just taken by surprise after he's already been punished and then punished again, and severely. This may be Snape's personality, but I cannot ever see this as being proper parenting in the wizarding world. Other than the over-doing of the CP the story is good. It seems however that the entire story is based around and geared towards an overload of CP. Is that the point of this story?

- Hm... I don't usually like to read stories where Snape goes to take revenge as I don't personally believe in revenge. That being said, specifically I think it was wrong for him to hurt a child. Even if Dudley were a bully, Severus has now become no better than Vernon for abusing a defenseless child. Very wrong.
As hidden secrets are revealed, Harry is forced to deal with a most unexpected, and unwanted, development. Sevitus. OOC maybe??? Maybe not???
