- Why is the time line scewed?
Severus, Lily & James graduated 'together' so unless Lily had Harry when she was 11 your time line is wrong.
Author's Response: No, Lily didn't have Harry when she was eleven. Harry traveled back in time, which is why the time travel warning is on the story. Sorry if that wasn't clear!

Severus and Lily were the same age in school so unless Lily had Harry when she was 12, time travel was involved.
Voldemort truly died when he attacked the Potters. However--no one was sure for years. Harry was left with the Dursleys. The abuse and neglect is stronger than in the books. When Harry makes it to Hogwarts, he is Sorted into Slytherin. Can Professor Snape see past the boy's

Right. [Harry was pushed by the way.] Snape was just pissed at him because of him looking at him like he's James, and Dumbledore planting the idea in his mind that Harry's becoming the next Dark Lord...
It will get better for Harry SOON!

- You MUST do a sequel!

*gulps* Um... MUST I? Quite honestly, I hadn't planned on it at all! And I've had to tell that to SO MANY readers already! Still, I really consider it a compliment that you believe that it's worthy of a sequel-- WOW! I had no idea that the story would get the response that it has!
As I've said to others hoping for a sequel, I won't say "never", but I don't see it happening any time soon. I have several other WIP's that I'd like to finish, and given than I HADN'T planned on continuing this story, I'd have to do a lot of brainstorming to come up with a fresh approach to Snape-mentors-Slytherin-Harry-in-lion's-clothing. I'd hoped that my idea about setting this story in the Hut would be original, but I'm not sure I could do a sequel justice after the story moved to Hogwarts. I'd hate to build up readers' expectations, only for the sequel to fall flat on its face. :-{ Like I said, I won't say "never", but don't hold your breath!

Response to the 'Foster' challenge by Kitsune-chan. Harry is adopted by the Grangers as a six year old and raised alongside Hermione as a muggle. How will he react when he learns that he, like his sister, is a wizard and how will others react when they learn Harry Granger is nothing like the Harry Potter they were expecting?

- I like it.
I think Harry would've been better off in Ravenclaw though, but he made friends with Theo & Blaise so it works so far.
And hopefully Snape calling Harry 'Granger' instead of Potter may reduce his dislike for the 'Boy-who-Lived'
A suspicion leads to a string of events all but one person could never see coming.

Severus refuses to let his efforts of protecting Harry to be in vain. So when Dumbledore reveals to him that Harry must die to vanquish the Dark Lord, he makes a rash and very dangerous decision. They are going to run and find another way to destroy the Horcrux within him as well as the others Voldemort has plaguing humanity.

- Um... apparating from within Hogwarts is not possible because of the wards.
And they could use Dobby to deliver messages after he promises not to tell ANYONE where they are.
Author's Response: Apparating can happen on the grounds of Hogwarts if the wards are manipulated. Dumbledore and Harry apparated off of Hogwarts grounds in the sixth book, and although Snape isn't Dumbledore I believe him to be smart enough to find a way to manipulate the wards to let him. Also, I didn't choose Dobby as a secret keeper because I don't think he would trust Snape enough to keep a secret for him, especially if Dumbledore manipulated Dobby into thinking that Snape was actually taking Harry to harm him or hand him over to Voldemort
If especially strong-willed, sometimes the dead can interfere with the events of the living. Lily Evans is a very strong-willed woman and is not happy with the course of events in her son's life. She is planning, and slowly building her energy so that she can step in and set things to right.
