Title: Chapter 1: Foreboding

I liked this chapter, but I hope that there is more to this story than just a quest. Don't get me wrong, it's good to have a strong plot element, I just hope that the adventure doesn't sweep away all the character development.
Author's Response: No, that won;t be happening. The quest is the major goal, of course, but while they are on it, Harry and Severus will bond more with each other and there will be some scenes with Remus and Sirius and other characters too, like Crabbe, Jace, Albus, and Hermione, to name a few.

I liked this chapter-- a little bit of reflection, humor, and retribution. The punishment wasn't unique, but I'm glad that the author stayed within humane parameters (especially since D. is doing the hexing). Some authors get quite gruesome with the revenge scenarios-- this story has a bit more realism than melodrama, so the simpler punishments fit better.
Author's Response: Thanks! Dumbledore isn't the type to go in for gruesome anything, he's a moderate type of guy, who likes to go for rehabilitation rather than revenge. In this case he wishes for the Dursleys to learn from their mistakes and hopefully repent of them. So he won't do anything truly harmful to them.

I like the hellhound-- particularly the detail about fiery spittle.
Author's Response: Thanks, the hellhound was quite an evil critter, and I figured it would make sense about it's spit burning holes in the floor, since it's really a demon in dog shape.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
This is a nice, fluffy chapter with only very minor conflict-- it's nice to have some normal moments to balance the story.
I'm curious about where this will lead-- the two main characters are off questing (which tends to isolate them). It's nice to see Remus and Siri, I'm wondering who else will show up? I'd like a subplot or two.
Too much of minor-characters-wondering-about-major- characters is problematic. On one hand, it's good to show people thinking about and caring about each other. On the other hand, it sort of pokes the reader in the eye with the idea that the plot is off somewhere else while the narrative is on a tangent.
Author's Response: Yes, this story needs those small moments and there will be more of a subplot later to balance out the quest that Sev and Harry are on. I thought it would only be natural for Sirius to wonder how harry was getting along with Severus, considering he really doesn't trust Severus fully yet. You'll see more of Crabbe and Marietta and Jace later on there will be a whole other part to this going on in a few chapters, it just wasn't time yet for me to bring them in.
One slipped word from Ron about a certain potions master and Albus Potter is overcome with curiosity about his namesake. Eager to placate his son, Harry takes all three children to talk to Snape’s portrait at Hogwarts but how well will they be received? Dedicated to Kbinnz!

Good chapter-- I like the introduction of Luna and I'm happy to hear that we'll see more of her. Harry seems terribly isolated-- it's tragic that only two of the people he's been with for years will have anything to do with him. And it seems horrible that Harry can't spend time in his own common room-- doesn't he need to face that sooner or later? Considering what a mess things have been, I'm a little suprized that "Harry Potter" didn't stay dead and Severin be introduced-- although this has been done before in several stories. I appreciate that the author didn't take the easiest route.
Author's Response: Thanks. Glad you liked Luna in this. She's great fun I think! XD But yeah, Harry does need some more people to hang around with. But don't worry about him too much longer. He's going to be THE Harry Potter again soon...attitude wise I mean...I think...^_^ But Yeah, glad you like the "not easy route" in this. Nothings going to be too easy for the characters in this story. Thanks for the review Quynce.

It was wonderful to get a new chapter for this story. I had to go back and read the whole thing again to put it in context-- and that was really fun. Would it be bad if I mentioned a minor editorial detail? The author writes often that the characters' minds "wonder" when she means that they "wander." "Wonder" is a verb that means "to speculate," as in "Harry wonders why the hat would resort him." Students' minds "wander" when they think about unrelated topics: "Harry found his mind wandering during the history lecture." I hope that my correction does not offend. I admire the author's work and dedication to this story.

I just read all of the story up to this point today, and I can't wait to see the next chapter. The author seems to have a good grasp of the medical aspects of the story, and I'm intrigued by the overlap between muggle and wizard worlds. There is a nice balance struck so far with the characterization of Dumbledore-- he seems to be the antagonist, but not a villian ( or neglectful, but not sadistic).
Author's Response: Thank you. I did a ton of research before starting to write this and my best friend is in her last year of nursing school, so I'm trying to make it as realistic as possible with having a little leeway because of the muggle/wizard overlap. I'm glad you like my depiction of Dumbledore. He's not perfect, and when you take out the bias of only seeing him through Harry's point of view, he changes. While he means well, he doesn't always do what's best for people because he's so focused on the war.

I'm very interested to see what you will do with this. Reversal stories are always fun and often quite sweet. I'm intrigued to see that you are yanking Harry out of the past so soon. Will he go back? Was that one encounter enough? I do agree with some of the reviewers of chap 3-- Eileen's quick agreement to send her child out with a strange man was creepy in the extreme.
Author's Response: Thanks! I love reversals too - but they're so difficult to find! :( Harry won't be going back to his present just yet though, so he will have more time to grow up himself a bit first - still a bit immature methinks. And, yeah, Eileen is weird. Certaintly not someone I'd trust a child with - though she does have her own parents and husband to thank in part for that.

I was so excited to see the new chapter-- it's such a fun story. We finally got just a little jigger of Severus-- I'm looking forward to more now that Tobias is at Hogwarts. I'm surprized that he's gone to the 'Puffs. I thought with all the sneaking around and concern about politics (both human and People), he'd be a shoe in for Slytherin. Then again, perhaps that's why the author chose otherwise... too predictable. It's nice that Tobias is out and proud, but I thought he was trying to stay hidden from the Court? That's bound to come to a head sooner rather than later.
Author's Response: :0) Thanks so much for your comments!! I'm glad you liked it!!
