Desperate to escape his guilt and nightmares after the third task, Harry transforms into a hawk by accident and ends up breaking both wings and suffering partial memory loss. He is found by Snape, and while the professor nurses him back to health discovers the truth about Severus and who are really his friends and enemies at Hogwarts.

- I love this story, I told you more than once, but I can't wait for the next chapter! Can someone kick Umbridge's a** for maltreatments? Please let that "someone" be Severus. And... Poor Harry.
Author's Response: Yes, that will be happening soon, from more than one angle. Severus will be doing some of it, for sure! Poor Harry indeed!
Mark Evans was rescued from Dudley’s gang by Harry the summer before he got his Hogwarts letter. Severus Snape introduces Mark to the wizarding world, takes him to buy his supplies, etc., and Mark is sorted into Slytherin. He approaches Snape for help finding information about laws in the wizarding world, wanting to do something about Harry's situation at home with the abusive Dursleys to repay his debt to him. - This is so unfair! I mean... it was too fast!! I was ready to read this story for... 40-50 chapters maybe a little longer! I loved that! I hope for a sequel! And Mark was a good character!! use him again! A Slytherin friend for Harry could be really useful!
Author's Response: Nope, no sequel. I'd rather write Harry than a random OC. Since we never actually met Mark Evans in canon, that's what he really is--a canonically named OC.

- I love this story, but this chapter is fantastic! The way Harry's accidental magic kick in when he's loosing someone else again is heartbreaking. I can't wait for the next chapter!!!

But I can't blame Harry at all! he was abused and spent his life with people who hate him and didn't forget to remember him that at any occasion.
But Yeah Harry is Harry, he will forgive Severus ASAP.

You're right about Harry. It'll take some time for him to come to terms with everything he just learned. It doesn't help that Severus doesn't remember, so he's somewhat disconnected emotionally from it. Thanks!

- Harry daring to ask for apple juice is really huge step! He's really understanding that Severus is there for him. And also Severus is doing the good thing not 'obey' without think, allowing Harry to feeling that even if he's sick, general rules - like saying please, still apply.
And I love that this chapter is just a picture of normal day during 'abnormal condition.
Can't wait for the next one! (I know I'm greedy)
Author's Response: Thanks! Harry's starting to understand, but he's not there yet. I think he's just testing the waters and for the moment he's okay with it. The enforcement of manners will give Harry a bit of normalcy, and I'm happy to hear you liked that part. The next chapter should be up by the end of the weekend.
