- Woah What an ending!
So are now both Harry and Severus in trouble with their magical core? Did Harry wake up, or at least change his dream? Snape slapping him was a little dire, I wonder what implications it will have on them. How come he couldn't just fight the weird Voldemort?
Great descriptions and plot development. I am so worried and anxious to know what happens next! Thanks so much for updating! Great chapter and hope to learn what happens soon!

- Yikes! I think this is a new and different twist, and very interesting. Is Sirius going to treat Harry differently now that he knows Harry is Snape's son and not James'?
Interesting that they would keep heritage records upon birth. Did James not know this or see them?

- Woah! That was intense. Incredible story. Wow. Ollie seems so real. I love how Snape handled it, he became an adult, and he helped Harry the best way for Harry. Slytherin-like, almost, cunning. I love how smart Snape comes out in this. Wow, such a powerful and new take on this. Well done!

- Awwwwww, I loved it! It was great to read it all from Snape’s point of view. He was very in character. Funny how the trolley witch mistook Harry for Snape’s son. I guess she put the idea into his head. :) Harry seems more with drawn than is canon, but it works for this story. I really like the set up here, and adore your Snape. Thanks for writing and sharing!

I also love the troupe of someone thinking that Harry is Snape's kid and both Harry and Snape being like "NO! but maybe..." - I'm loving it so far. The conniving Headmaster. Long suffering Snape. Prim McGonagall. Everyone is very much in character. I'm glad that Alfonse Snape doesn't look like Snape - his mannerisms would give him away. But who would expect Snape to be in Gryffindor? Author's Response: Yeah I knew when I set out to write this that I had to find a way to make sure Snape's alter ego looks nothing like him because he's definitely reluctant enough to do this in the first place that I just couldn't see him putting in the extra effort to make sure his mannerisms didn't give him away!!! - Awww, yay! Snape has survived an evening in the Gryffindor common room! I really love how Harry took charge, and just yelled at everyone to stop- and they listened! He really has some leadership qualities, and they are really not explored or expressed enough in most stories.
I could imagine McGonagall doing a bed check, that's hilarious. And cute.
Poor Harry having to go through Voldemort's memories. That's got to leave a gross feeling, and haunted mind from the terrible memories.

Author's Response: omg you get it!!!! i see harry leading the DA and im like- those are some Serious leadership abilities and i rarely see that showcased in fic, so yknow I had to include it in mine! and when you have a flight risk as serious as Snape would be that first night, you do what you must! and yeah I definitely intend to explore the after effects of that further, but Harry is in some serious denial right now so he's not quite ready for it. thank you for the review!!!

- Yay McGonagall! I love how she broke the news to Severus - bonding and teaching. Heheheheh. Maybe Snape will discover Harry has a knack for potions after all. Will Snape do as McGonagall asked and separate his memories of Harry from James and review them?
Is Dumbledore worried about Defense using boggarts and Snape's identity being revealed? Or something else in defense? He could bond and tutor in defense more. Or maybe Dumbledore is keeping Snape from experiencing the worst of the incompetent defense teacher? Wait, I forgot, who is the defense teacher? It would be hilarious if it were Lupin.
I'm really enjoying your characterization of Snape and all the things he has to suffer through. It is really amusing to see him react. I guess I am like McGonagall in that way.

Author's Response: you'll have to read and find out about the memories! and i'm definitely leaning towards Harry having some skill at at least the practical parts of potions when he has a better teacher. my dumbledore tends to be a force for chaos so trying to attribute rational motivations to his actions won't really go anywhere. the defense professor is an OC because I arbitrarily decided that when i first started writing this years ago and I've been trying to keep it as intact as possible. I'm glad you like my characterization of snape! he definitely has to go Through it before he'll wake up and start being a reasonable person- although, not to spoil anything, he's currently got something else going on interfering with his rationality. thank you so much for the kind review!

- Woah haha. That was some quick stepping by Snape to explain his backstory adequately. I wonder if Harry suspects anything. And how is Severus going to get out of wanting to be an Auror? Maybe he should just go with it.
Maybe his mom refuses to let him? With the war going on, he should feel it necessary to "learn" defense though. Maybe that will give him reason to pop into the defense club.
I bet Snape will be expected to turn in all his assignments. The other students would notice if he didn't.

Author's Response: I figured that Snape would be quite skilled in thinking on his feet and coming up with a feasible story after being a spy. Harry's got a lot going on, and since the entire fic has been over the course of a single weekend, he doesn't really have reason to think something is up- in my head, professors can take weekends off and periodically do so. you've definitely guessed how I'm going to get him into the da! thank you for reviewing!!
