- I printed this story out a while back to read it; apparently I can't even walk down the street without having some reading material with me. Thus, at the time, I hadn't left a review. But I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed reading this story. I love the fact that Snape has a family. Once in a while we see him with siblings or with one child or a wife, but never a stable nuclear family; it's really nice to see here. I hope that you don't abandon this great fic.
During Occulmency lessons in the course of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Severus notices something... off in Harry's memories.

- Ya know, I like an intelligent Harry; it's nice to see that. It's also fascinating to watch Snape justifying to himself that he is coming to care for Harry - that he wants to care, but needs a reason to do so. It's an odd way to approach a situation, but then, it's a very Snape way to do it. Looking forward to the next update.

Snape\'s exceptionally rational - I see him as an Enlightenment sort of guy rather than a Romantic figure, if you know what I mean. He won\'t venture any strong emotions unless there\'s a good logical reason for doing so.
I like intelligent Harry too ... the canon Harry that\'s impulsive and angry just drives me crazy sometimes. I hope I\'m not taking it too far but I\'ve at least tried to justify it so that makes everything okay .... right?

- I really like how everything is developing. Severus is holding hard and fast to his to his delusions of revenge, but he's really starting to care about Harry. I wonder if the rest of the staff is as clueless as Severus seems to think. Will they be stepping in, or will it be all Severus?
I love your writing style. You put such power behind your stories. I can't wait to read more.

- Oh this chapter is beautiful beyond words. The way Severus just aches over what he realizes that he has lost. It's perfect.
