- *That* was a brilliant chapter. You left me on the edge of my seat. You drew Hermione so amazingly well. I'm quite tired of seeing dumbed-down or, alternately, all-brains-but-no-personality Hermione. Your character shows Gryffindor bravery, high intellect, cunning, and passion for her cause. I look forward to reading more of this story.
Harry Potter, 10 years old, finds out that he isn't a Potter, and that he has a brother still living! And his brother happens to be Severus Snape. After the reading of Eileen Prince's will, Severus takes Harry in. And after spending the summer living with his newly-found brother, being educated in the wizarding ways, and meeting new people, Harry slowly starts fitting in and having a normal life.
How long will it stay normal, though? After all, despite him being known to Hogwarts and the rest of the world as Silas Prince, he still is Harry Potter, and it is only so long that he is able to stay out of trouble.

- This is an interesting take on the Guardian!Snape genre. I'm curious to read more. One note though - you've switched back and forth between "Silias" and "Silas" -while I assume that you mean the latter, the former is shows up more often.
I look forward to seeing the next chapter.

- Hi, I read the start of your story, and I'm looking forward to reading more; I think that you have a good start and a great concept. I like especially that you are starting at the beginning of second year when Harry is not too young, but is old enough to be able to understand the basics of the wizarding world. I don't recall seeing any other stories starting in this particular place.
I do, however, think that you are progressing a little too quickly and assuming that the reader knows things that he or she does not. It's easy to do - you have all these brilliant ideas and have thought about them so much that you know how the story will progress. The problem is, though, that the reader doesn't. For example, when Snape wakes Harry up from a dream, he calls him "Jamie." Had the name change not been mentioned in the summary, I would have had no idea what you were talking about. Perhaps you could have Snape and Harry discussing the name change? The same goes a bit for Tanya - I think the idea of incorporating her is good, but you need to insert her into the story a bit more smoothly. He introduction seemed abrupt.
Overall, I think that you had a good idea, but a good beta reader would help the progression tremendously. And don't give up! You've a great start and I look forward to reading more.

- This was a much better chapter. I think you've got the pacing down a little better this time. I like that Harry is interacting well with Snape. I'd like to see their home life in a little more detail - maybe some of Harry's daily routine and some interaction between the two. Oh and it's auror not aurorer.
Harry Potter's first try at using the floo lands him in the dark and mysterious Borgin and Burke's. However, it isn't Hagrid who rescues the young lad, but instead a snarky potion's professor.

- How can our beloved potions master be so blind?
I wasn't paying attention to the site and didn't notice that you had added chapters. But I was so glad when I finally did. I really like the whole concept of this story and I'm glad that you are writing it. I especially like the tailor - he seems to know Snape. Did he perhaps take care of Severus as a child too? I can't wait for another chapter.
A slight twist to the usual deaging stories. What if the accident created a gas? What if it affected the entire class? How does Snape deal with fifteen toddlers?

- This is a really sweet story. I love little Harry and Draco.
