- I liked this chapter. It really showed how the boys relationship is developing. I hope they can become friends before Severus kills both of them and himself from having to listen to their disputes.
Author's Response: Yes their relationship is proceeding nicely but not fast enough for Severus, I think. Poor Sev. Being stuck with quarreling children is the worst.

- Dragons Wild sounds like a lot of fun. I think that next time I play poker with my siblings I'll suggest playing for chores. Harry's nightmare was exactly that, nightmarish. Great chapter!

- I think that it's a fair punishment. I don't think they're going to be whaling on each other again. I thought Severus swore never to use corporal punishment because he didn't want to act like his father. Great chapter, I can't wait to read the next one.
Author's Response: No, they've learned their lesson I'd think. And Sev's version of CP is nothing like his dad's at all, and he prays he'll never have to use it on them even so. It's more for humilation than an actual spanking, he's trying to make them see that their behavior is way too childish and needs to stop, but if they keep beating on each other then he'll treat them like they were five again. And being treated like a child will be so humiliating for the two teenagers.

- It will be interesting to see Smidgen work with Harry in his dreams. I really like the fairy cat. I hope she appears a lot more. I love learning more about the fae world. Great chapter!

- I'm glad you updated! It was very touching to read Harry and Snape's conversation at the end of the chapter. I hope that Harry will be able to have a more normal summer and year with Snape. I loved the scene in the clothing shop and how offended Harry was when Madame Malkin thought that he was nine of ten. Great chapter!

- The end of the chapter was so sweet! I'm glad he wasn't seriously injured.
Couldn't big Harry have told the adults about the Longbottoms being targeted? It would have saved Neville, Alice and Frank a lot of pain and hardship. If there wasn't time to tell them couldn't he at least have written something down about it?
I really enjoy this story and I hope you update soon. Finding out what house Harry's sorted into is what I'm looking forward to the most. Siruis will freak if Harry becomes a Slytherin. And some how I don't think that Severus will be over joyed if he becomes a Gryffindor.

- Great chapter! I can't believe that the Death Eaters were able to get onto the grounds. Poor Harry! He can't have a normal birthday party. I can't wait for the next chapter.

- I'm so excited to discover what is going to happen, if Snape will return and who he killed to make his horcrux.
Dumbledore was so awful to Harry, and it was nice to see both of them admit it, and not shy away from the discussion as often happens in other stories. Great work having Dumbledore take responsibility for his actions.
I loved this line, "Dumbledore had known that one day he would have to answer to Harry, and today was judgment day...",it really summed up the scene for me and was so clear and striking.
Great first chapter, I'm looking forward to the next one.

Yeah, Dumbledore knew that he'd used Harry as a tool, but he was also caught in a no-win situation.
I won't reveal just yet too much about how Snape made his Horcrux. That will be explained later.
