I really like your Hagrid: he should be given Filch's title "the Care Taker", he's so compassionate and not at all on the 'a bit daft' side - the impression I got from the canon.
Author's Response: Oh, definitely, he watches out for those who need it, students as well as animals. I neve really agreed with how he was portrayed in the books, I mean if he was smart enough to be a wizard and go to school, then he was smart enough to act like a wise mentor type and not a buffoon. I'm of the old school that tends to make my wizards intelligent, not that they can't do stupid things, but on the whole they aren't the "duh" and let's just bash things on the head, that's more like the stereotypical warrior mentality. I figured Hagrid's been around nearly as long as McGonagall and Flitwick, so he should know what's up and because he wasn't a professor, he would see what they missed and be able to notice warning signs in both Sev and Harry, since he was there once too. Thanks for reading!

Trust Severus to get a bit carried away when it comes to Potions :] I half expected him to chop up the poor moth anyway. Nice and short.
Author's Response: Hi, thanks for reading! Sev always did strike me as the type who would be overly enthusiastic about something he loved, seeing as he's definitely very enthusiastic about the things he hates. I'm glad you enjoyed my fic! -P.G.
Drabble. Snape leaves Harry alone in detention for ten seconds. He returns to find that his private potions ingredients have been destroyed.

Ha! Serves Draco right. That's what you get when associating with brainless goons. Nice.

Canon stories, where Snape dies, always make me terribly sad. Your piece is good, though, - short, yet catching the essence of Snape's sense of duty perfectly. Thank God, you didn't make it any longer or I'd be bawling by now. Lots of sniffling frogs for you.
Author's Response: I was actually thinking of expanding this later. I hate it when Snape dies too. I just have way too many projects going at this time to do the story justice. Thanks for the kind words. T

That was hilarious! Especially, how Harry fainted, when he saw Snape smiling - I couldn't stop laughing.

Yeah, take that you prejudiced hypocrites! I liked the tranquil tone of this beautiful, beautiful story. Only that last bit at the end about the Potter family seemed a little out of place, could've gone without it. Other than that it's a lovely piece of reading. I'm giving you thumbs-up and a lot of chocolate frogs!

Aahh, I actually feel sorry for James. It's interesting to see all three of them together like that. Too bad that it's such dark world they have to live in. Nice story!
Author's Response: Thanks, it was a lot of fun to write. I have no idea why I like writing James as much as I do, but I love writing people who really don't like each other stuck with each other. I plan to write more in this tremendously dark world, so I hope you don't dislike it.
Still reeling from the revelation that they are father and son, Harry and Snape are suddenly thrust together, when they are forced to reluctantly participate in Hogwarts' first Father and Son's Day; a scheme thought up by the manipulative Albus Dumbledore. Will Dumbledore's plan to bring Harry and Snape closer, backfire, or will father and son finally begin to understand and care for each other? Entry in the 2009 Challenge Fest. I like this caring Dumbledore, who's pretty outright about showing his concern for Harry and Severus. And poor Neville, jealous of Harry.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you. It's very easy to portray Dumbledore as being manipulative, which he is, but he's also caring and well-meaning, and he does care about Harry and Severus. Yeah, poor Neville. Imagine him being jealous over Snape, of all people!

It's great that Neville has a father figure now and Harry's got his very own Git (I liked that place:)
Author's Response: Yeah, I don't know what made me think of Neville. It just popped into my head that Neville needed someone, and I thought that Remus was a perfect match for him. Hee he. Harry and his git! Don't they make a good match too. LOL! ;)
