OMG!!! This was SOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!! I was "aww"ing and "ooo"ing all through this! I LOVE to read Severus's talk. It's so cute!! XD And OH MY!! When he tries to say big words like "violently" and "disrespect" AWWWWW!! XD He's such a little brat, but I'm loving him!!!! This is so wonderful, Winger-Hawk!! I give you fifty thousand points for this story so far!! (I'm sure I won't have to deduct ;D ) I'm off to the next chappie!!
Poor little Sev! His tummy hurt! He's so cute! I love that he laughs at the misfortunes of others! XD Like when they're all shocked and whatnot. But now he's scared and he doesn't like Remua around. :( But yay ice cream!! Now, I don't want to be rude or snotty, but I caught one little typo:"friend of hers at the dorms who was teacher it to her baby brother." the "teacher should be "teaching". Don't worry, I make mistakes ALL the time *winces* I'm pretty bad about it actually. But if you want me to just shut up, then by all means tell me. I'll read tomorrow, but right now I must give in to the powers of sleep. Again, very good!!
I can't wait until Sirius comes into the mix. Sev's just going to LOVE that. But now he has Teddy to play with. What's his adult mind think of THAT I wonder? Probably doesn't really care anymore. *giggles* Poor Sev... But seriously, I'm with the Potions MAster in this chapter: bring out the chocolate pudding! lol But I like mash potatoes and corn too. Love it really. I'll read and review later. Again, Very good!! Author's Response: Wow! :D Well...First of all, thank you for all your reviews! I'm more than glad you're enjoying the story! :) And I thank you for pointing out that typo earlier. When I write I tend to type it all really fast and when I'm on a roll I sometimes end up writing 10 pages worth of stuff in a stretch and going back and catching every possible typo is rather difficult for me. So thank you for pointing that out. I'll be sure to fix that the next time I update. :) Anyway, I'm very glad that you're enjoying the story and I hope you enjoy the rest of the chapters posted so far. Sirius comes in eventually and that whole fiasco is posted already so you'll be able to see what happens when you get to it. :P Again, I thank you for all your reviews so far, and I really, really appreciate them. ;) Happy reading!
And the adult part of Severus is always shocked by something new about Harry, isn't he? He's just so CUTE in this! And *snickers* he likes the milk. *sinckers* that was funny. I really love your writing style. It's great!! Another great chapter Winger-Hawk!!
And now Sev can crawl; good for him! But oh, Harry and Ginny are going to have to watch him now!! Who KNOWS what kinda trouble he'll get into later? It will be adorable no doubt, but still! And now Sev sees Lily in the clouds. *sobs* That's so sad! I always feel bad for him because of how much he loved her and didn't get her and...and, yeah...I'm just glad that he's getting a second chance! ^-^ Another goodie Winger! You got a ringer! (I'm hopelessly infatuated with rhyming...sorry about that) XD
I just have one question though. Why doesn't Sev know what a horcrux is in this? He should. I mean at the beginning he doesn't seem to know what it is, but in the middle, when they're talking about Tom's diary, he seems to understand there. Was it just the baby in him at the moment? Aww! The ending made me sad, yet happy. He distroyed the box and got Lily's picture, but he can never have Lily. She's dead. Will he ever be able to let go and love someone else when he gets older? Or will he forever love her and only her? I'd be really sad for him if he had two life times where he couldn't be happy and didn't get to love anyone like he'd loved Lily... I think he deserves someone. Unless he'd someday marry Lily's granddaughter, Harry's daughter?? That's kind weird to think about... Well, I know what you mean about typing too fast that your brain doesn't register mistakes. Mine does that ALL the time. My story almost alway has like ten mistakes I don't catch because I know what it's supposed to say and I just don't see it. But I did find one booboo: "Slytherins are most likely the one ones who" you have one too many ones (ha!) Another wonderful chappie, my dear Winger-dawn. I'll read again tomorrow!! Author's Response: Thank you once again for taking the time to review! :) It's highly appreciated, considering I'm a person who reads a story, loves it to pieces, but almost never reviews. :P That's why I appreciate all my reviewers so much. :) To answer your question, Sev doesn't know what a Horcrux is. Like, period. He doesn't. Um...And I wrote it that way because when I was reading the books, I noticed that Dumbledore never told Severus what a horcrux was. Or at least...I don't think he did. Voldemort would NEVER tell his Death Eaters what a horcrux is because he's the type that would keep the secrets of immortality from his followers. Dumbledore just told Snape that a piece of Voldemort's soul was lodged in Harry, and that's all Snape knew about that situation. He didn't know that Harry was technically termed a "horcrux". It was Harry who knew the implications of Dumbledore's statement. The Headmaster, to my recollection, never actually said the word "horcrux" during his and Snape's conversations. Um...during the story, the part when they're talking about Riddle's Diary, that was Sev reacting to the notion of being associated with Voldemort's soul, which Harry mentions in the previous line. Sev has yet to associate the term "horcrux" to the notion that it houses a piece of a person's soul. When he starts talking about never feeling clean again if that ever happened to him, he's only talking about that notion. He has yet to find out he's also talking about being associated with horcruxes. Uh...anyway, yeah. I think that was the part you were referring to. Did that answer your question? Or did I just ramble about the completely wrong part? :-P Let me know. Thanks once again for pointing out that typo. It's supposed to say "...the ONLY ones..." So now I have two things to fix the next time I update. Lol! It's all good. Um...about Lily. LoL! That last comment is both amusing and a little disconcerting, considering Harry and Ginny are practically, um...adopting Sev and stuff. She would technically be his adoptive sister. :-S Uh...yeah. LOL! But anyway...back to Lily...Chapter 12 (as well as little bits and pieces scattered throughout this story) should pique your interest in that regard. Um...yeah. That's all I'm saying about that. ;-P Some reviewers have already started guessing in regards to it. I want to see who actually gets it right first. Oh yeah! And Chapter 15 is rather Lily-centric as well. Er...yeah. I think that's all I wanted to say about that. :-P Ha, ha! Happy reading! (And thanks once again for the review!)
And before I go on, I must say that Tonks TOTALLY sounds like my aunt! Seriously, my aunts run around the house screaming before when she was happy. The only difference between the two is that my aunt can't change her hair color as fast as Tonks! XD Okay, not I gotta tell you that I REALLY admire Ginny in this chapter. I don't think that I could have admitted I was breastfeeding a baby that wasn't mine to my teachers when they were STILL my teachers. *winces* I would be horrified. So three cheers to her. I would've acted more like Sev and hid and turn red. But Sev sounds just so CUTE! Think Harry and Ginny would let me take him?? Yeah, me neither, but it was worth a shot, right? I do have one question though: at the end, what does Ginny mean when she says, "And my name's not Ginny."?? That confused me, but maybe I'm just being stupid (which happens A LOT!) But your answer last review was exactly what I was looking for. I guess I never noticed that Dumbles never just the word "horcrux" around Snape. I guess I just assumed he knew what it was being a Dark Arts Extraordinaire. Very observant of you! ^-^ Well, I'm off to the next chappie! Tally HOOoooooOOoooOOoooo...!! Author's Response: Lol! Well...once again, thank you for the review. :) Your aunt sounds super-cool! :D To be completely honest, the whole breastfeeding thing with Ginny got me nervous when I posted it because I figured people would have mixed feelings to it and everything. And they did, actually. But I kept it in there because it's my story and I wanted it in there, AND I wanted to show that Ginny was getting just as attached to Sev as Harry was. Plus, I think the whole idea of breastfeeding is just beautiful. The bond between mother and child is just as precious as the bond between father and child. I wanted Sev to have the whole nine yards now that he was in his second childhood. And eventually Sev will recognize that both Harry and Ginny are strong in their own ways. Um...yeah. I don't know. I'm really glad that you (and a few other reviewers) recognized that the whole breastfeeding thing was something worthy of admiration. That was what I was going for when it came to that. And...yeah. :P Thanks for your opinion on that aspect! :D In answer to your question, Ginny was replying to Harry insisting that he wasn't getting worked up. So...Dean is Ginny's ex, Ginny is Harry's girlfriend, and Ginny is going to be staying in the dorms next school year--away from Harry (her boyfriend), and closer to Dean (her ex). Harry was definitely getting worked up in regards to that situation. Lol! :P "And my name's not Ginny." was just her sarcastic reply to him insisting he wasn't getting worked up. It's kind of like, "SURE you weren't getting worked up! SURE you weren't!" Lol! :P Did that clear things up? :) Let me know. Thanks again for the wonderful review! :)
But I like the arguement between Ginny and Harry and the after math. That actually sounds a bit like me and my boyfriend. I'm like Ginny, the more forceful one that makes the man do all the work ;D while my boyfriends like Harry that has more patience (usually) and DOES what the girl tells them! ^-^ That makes men just that much easier to get along with. lol And oh the mashpotatoes! That was so cute!! I love how Sev knows what he's doing, is still in there as the old Snape, but doesn't really care all that much at times. It makes it that much more adorable for me. ^-^ But, uh-oh! Here come Sirius!! I'll have to read it later on. Very good Winger!1 “Did he ever his you?” |
