I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter!

Severus Snape is my hero and favorite character by far. I have never forgiven J.K. for killing him off. I love to see him as a father figure to Harry. (Who needs James Potter? Not me!)

There are few pairings that I won't read about, but for some reason I cannot abide Ginny Weasley, unless she is a villian. I like her that way. Though that doesn't mean that I won't read fics with her as the love interest, it's just not my preference. Truth is that I adore reading and my tastes are rather eclectic, so bring on the stories, because I'm ready to review!

I have just started my first attempt at a Harry Potter fanfic and I hope that everyone will enjoy it. I welcome all constructive critism and any advice given will be noted.

    It is rather curious that Harry can so easily use Severus' wand. From Harry's description, it seems like it works just as well as his own. Will the same be true of James' wand or will Severus' be a better match?

    I feel bad for Draco. I know it must be hard for him right now, but that doesn't excuse his behavoir towards Severus or Harry. I hope that once he calms down he will see the wisdom in Severus' words.

    Well there are actually several reasons why Severus' wand works so well... but actually, yes, it would work better than James', strange as it seems.

    Draco is being his typical selfish self, but well.. he's going through hard times too!

    It was a terrible lesson to teach Harry, but one that, unfortunately, needed to be taught. The world isn't safe for Harry and he needs to be able to protect himself, even if it means killing someone..or something, sad though that is. I'm glad that Harry is willing to forgive Severus for the harsh lesson, even if he doesn't approve of the method used.

    It was nice of Minerva to take Harry about and introduce him to all of the other felines in the castle. It will take time, but I'm sure that he will be able to get back at Mrs. Norris at some point. I wonder if Severus has taken up a collection of Harry's fur? :D

    Harry is very willing to believe whatever Snape tells him. He Severus says he needs to do it, that's ok... it's nice some times to have someone tell you that it's not your entire responsability if you have something hard to do. Less guilt ;-)

    As for fur, if Severus is having the same problem I am, he will soon have way too much of it ;-) Amazing how much hair a cat can lose at spring!

    It's really hard to let go of those that you love and care about. I understand Severus' reluctance. I hope that he gives the Harry from his world a chance this time around; they could become a family if they allow themselves to. I hope that the Harry's find their way back to the body they each belong in and that Severus (the father one) can be saved and Lily, as well.

    I hope that what Severus has revealed within his mind will help Harry to figure out how to occlude his mind. He needs to visualize something that he can maintain without really thinking about it...I think perhaps stone and bricks is the wrong choice. He needs something more flexible and movable, like fire or water.

    I think that they are beginning to find ways to trust each other, but it is still quite touch and go at times. I wonder if Harry will ever admit the secret behind his sudden turn-around in Potions...and how would Harry react when he found out who the Half-blood Prince is?

    Great chapter! I cannot wait to find out what will happen next. Good luck on your finals!

    Beautiful ficlet!

    It's really a pity that Severus was denied Harry in the first place. Stupid Dumbledore! I'm just glad that the wind sprites were there to help Lily bring her child to where he belonged.

    Such a sad way for this story to end. Not that I think that Sirius and Remus didn't do well in raising him, it just that I wish Severus had done what his heart actually told him to do and fought to have custody of Harry himself.
