Final Note 6 - June 2018:

Although it has already been a long time since I have posted or updated anything, it is time to make it official.

I will no longer be writing fanfiction.

I haven't come to this decision because I have run out of ideas or inspiration for my current works - to the contrary, I have put a lot of thought and planning into each of them. Even now, the moments and scenes I had planned live happily in my head. The issue becomes the fact that I have limited free time, so I must choose how to spend it. This is why there have so often been extremely long breaks between updates. In turn, this becomes unfair to readers, as I know that they often have limited free time as well and it is very easy to forget the plot of a story that wasn't born within your own head (and sometimes even then!).

Now, I know many of you would continue to wait for updates. We lovers of fanfiction are tenacious that way. However, since my free time is limited, I have decided that my focus needs to be on my original works.

In that spirit, though a part of me is saddened, I hereby abandon all my current works-in-progress. I will not be updating them again. However, I also open my stories up for adoption, should anyone be interested in continuing them in my stead. (Though, to be clear, I don't honestly think anyone would, but) I ask only that I be credited and that no large portions of my work, incomplete or no, be copied by another (so please link/direct readers back to my work if you continue it).

I've had such a great time in this fandom. Thanks to all who've helped keep the magic alive!

    Ah, I'm glad little Remus isn't going to have to deal with that, as yet. It'd be just awful. D:

    Nice update - my favorite bit is how Harry and Draco are already behaving like an old married couple. :P That sort of dynamic always amuses me too much. Oh, they are going to be doing some learning, all right. Not only about taking care of infants, but putting up with each other!

    Poor Draco D: All rained on and lost and miserable and then he has to meet Petunia and the rest of the Dursleys. Poor kid. I'm not sure how much comfort I can even take from the fact that at least Draco and Harry now have each other.

    I love, love, love the sibling bonding. So good for the boys to get to know each other and realize that although some obvious things were different, their upbringings were (sadly) similar. I'm very happy Tonks is going to be there for them, too!

    Ah, Severus. I agree with Minerva - a little heavy on the dramatics there, Sev.

    Yay! I was actually surprised while planning this chapter that there were so many similarities, which worked really well for the characters so that was fun. Glad you're happy about Tonks :)

    Haha, yeah, Severus is doing a lot of sulking at the moment. He just found out he has not one, but two Potter brats coming to Hogwarts. Thanks for the review.

    Awww, I really enjoyed the twins' first train ride. Draco's trying so hard to unlearn the misconceptions and prejudices grilled into him by the Malfoys - I'm so proud of him! And I like the idea of the twins and Ron and Neville all being friends.

    Oh, but I don't want them to be separated into different Houses! D: D: I mean, I suspect they will be, and I have every confidence that they will find a way to remain close regardless, but it will still make me a little sad. They just found each other, dagnabit!

    Wonderful chapter - I look forward to the next update!

    Thank you so much for your feedback, it means a lot and has been helpful. It's also reassured me I'm doing some things right at least haha. Draco's got so much conflict going on, and it's why I chose to make him the main character POV as he does have quite a journey ahead of him. 

    I can't say anything about the sorting, spoilers and all that, but really enjoyed reading your thoughts on it. I'm really glad you're enjoying the story so far, and thanks again for the reviews - absolutely made my day!

    Great update! And I am totally in agreement with Sev and Minerva. Two Potters and a Weasley in Ravenclaw? Ohhh, they are going to be in for some unique sort of troublemaking. :P Very delighted by this turn of events, as well as that the four boys went in determined to remain friends no matter their sorting. I also feel that Ron is a good fit for Ravenclaw - he always was smart, just not especially studious - and it will be very good for him to start carving a path apart from what everyone else in his family followed.

    Ooohhh, I suspect that last line is going to prove an important detail later on. Nice.

    Great chapter, over all. I am so with Ron about the stairs. Once upon a time, I attended a college with lots of stairs everywhere and lemme tell you, running late was hell. Lots of things to enjoy in this update, which I did. Nicely done!
