    At first, I was vry upset, I wanted to yell about how Severus knows how to counter sectumsempra. Then I decided to take time to read the reviews to see if anyone else had said anything about it. I didn't want to hassle you about it if others were. After I thought about it for a while, I realized Harry wouldn't want Severus to save him this time. Surviving that war would be torture for Harry. So this is the review instead. I loved the writting style. I'm glad I read it even though I generally don't read song fics. This one was not only goo but it was great.

    I actually didn't think about Severus countering the curse. After all, he was pretty preoccupied (it's war, after all) and there wasn't time, I guess. But thanks for the heads-up. I could use the countercurse for another time! :D And you're not hassling me! It's awesome to read any reviews.

    Aww, I love it. I thought you said it wasn't going to be fluffy? I'd say the end was decidedly happy and fluffy. I hope Snape ate Quirrell, on second thought I don't. Q-boy would probably have given him indegestion.

    Author's Response: I think Snape would be too picky to eat Quirrell ... Q-boy. I have never heard him called that before. It's rather funny. I'm glad you liked the story. I guess it did get a little fluffish at the end. I didn't really mean for that to happen. I just figured I'd warn people that this story was going to go sour in some ways, otherwise they would hunt me down with sticks after what happened to poor Severus. Surprisingly, people get mad when you put their favourite character in mortal danger, and make him get bitten by things, and try to kill him (who knew, right?). I gave Severus a terminal illness once, in another story, and wow, I was ready to hide in a bunker after some of the reviews I got! ;) I swear I could hear the words smouldering. Anyway, I am glad you enjoyed the story. I was actually quite worried about this one, as I felt I didn't quite do my idea justice, what with the time constraints. I spent half the time trying to figure out how to end the thing! Cheers!

    The plot development in the chapter was really good. You said it's not edited yet so I won't mention anything about that. I'm working on my punctuation and grammar (also spelling) a bit so I was surprised when I recognized a few mistakes. I'm really enjoying the story.

    Author's Response: Thanks for the review.  Yeah, I edit as I go, and I hardly ever go back and edit what I've written if it's just fan fiction, mostly because people are asking for immediate updates, and once it's updated I'm off writing the next chapter already.  Sorry about any grammar mistakes you may have seen.  I think most of my chapters have at least one, but hopefully not more than three.
