You set the scene perfectly, got the characters spot on for me and produced a wonderful mix of emotions.You posed an excellent question and integrated Snape very cleverly in the response.     I love this too. The diverse strands of the story mesh together well to make such a satisfying Christmas tale.(Potions Monster - thats definitely a title the students should have come up with!)

    Author's Response: Thanks ^^ I tend to write my stories organically; I start with one ides (in this instance the image of a suprised Harry walking into Severus' office to find his teacher asleep and surrounded by biscuits) and just let it develop naturally. 'Potions Monster', alas, isn't my own idea but I've seen it used in so many fics that I don't know who came up with it first lol!
