- Awe! Very cute (the last two sentences in this chapter.) So are we going to see Draco re-introducing himself to Harry? How are Rona and Mione going to take that? Will Snape keep little Harry?
Before Harry arrives at Hogwarts, the faculty have a meeting and decide that Harry will need a mentor to help him adjust, keep him out of trouble, and make protecting him easier. They decide that this person should the Head of the House into which Harry is sorted, presumably Minerva McGonagall. But things, of course, don't turn out as planned, and Harry is harder to deal with than anyone expected. Nobody asked him if he wanted a mentor, after all...

- I'm trying to decide if the fawn is naive or if Snape doesn't realize that the fawn is taking his behavior as protective and not as it is meant. Granted with Snape he could be confused about how he feels. Maybe Lily should visit him? *grins* I think he needs some reassurance that he is doing the right thing. Or maybe he could meet the Dursleys.
Great story, I hope you continue it one day. I loved Bambie and fawn!Harry reminds me why I loved that story so much. So does Snape have a animgus form too? Can't wait to read more.

- Does Sev realize Harry is punishing himself? Does Harry realize that he is punishing himself? Does Lupin and Ron realize the damage they did to Harry? (You may not have done it intentionally, but I can see the opportunity or the hint of damage there.) Will Harry slowly begin to realize his dad is not going to leave him? Does Lupin realize how selfish he has been, like Severus realizes how afraid/semi-selfish he was when he was younger? Does Mione and Ginny realize they are causing problems too?
So I have a slight hit list of people I want to off or at least tell off. Dumbledore is the prime one. The kid has A.L.L., he isn't going to be able to fight Tom. Period. At least not in the traditional sense, plus Severus will kill him before he gets close. Somehow I doubt Dumbles even realizes how truly powerful Sev is. He should have told Severus instead of using his vow as a means to create a weapon to use against the Dark Lord.
Next on my list is Lupin. I am currently refusing to call him Remus since he is attempting to subvert the one good thing Harry or Hadrian has.(is that ever going to get addressed? It might be beneficial for when those two want to escape the fame of Harry Potter.) Here's my begging list: Please if you give Harry a girlfriend/boyfriend whatever (Sev is right, when has that kid ever gotten a chance to figure out what he wants and not what other people want?), please, please no Ginny. (I'll still read if it is her, I'll just ignore her.
Next on my begging list, is will we find more out about Aunt Eileen and Tobias, Sev's real parents and how different Sev looks without the glamour? Does Sev just need his glasses for reading? If so, why does Harry need them to see? Is that from whatever makes him look like Potter or something else? Will we ever see Harry actually looking like his father? Will the chemo kill the horcrux? (Cause that would be awesome, having Tommy defeated by muggle medicine.) Why did Harry get cancer? Why did his strong magicial core not protect him? Or is it due to meddling on someone else's part? (*cough* Dumbles *cough*)
I love the little things that make this story spectacular! It is truly a wonderful story that I am looking forward to reading more of and re-reading. I hope to see Harry and Severus growing closer and see what Harry decides he would like to be as an adult. I'm sure Sev will be there to support him like a good dad does. Please write more soon!!! ~Alexandra

- This was well worth the wait! I cannot wait to see more of the those two's relationship growing. By the way, does Harry know yet that Sev's real last name is Prince and that his own is Hadrian? Please let him know if he doesn't!
I cannot wait to see if Sev takes him to the therapist or not. I think it would be really beneficial and if Sev addresses it as someone just for Harry to talk to and normalize the action of going to the therapist; Harry might be more receptive. That's what I do for my patients.

Author's Response: You'll see how the Potions lesson goes in the next chapter. The interview with the psychiatrist will be in the following chapter. i wante to include the interview in Chapter 45, but the tone of the chapter didn't really allow for it, and the interview needs to be the center of a chapter because not only is it important for Harry's emotional path, but it will also set something I've been planning for a while up... Thanks!

- I look forward to reading the next chapter! I loved this one and am curious, did Harry realize why Sev kept getting nervous?
I agree with Sev about Harry and his tendency to give up; but I wonder does Severus realize why Harry believes he's "pants" has to do with being told he is dumb so much?
Author's Response: I think Harry was definitely aware why Severus was nervous. I'm pretty sure it was the pink elephant in the room no one wanted to address. Also on some levels I know Severus realizes a part of why Harry doesn't think he's that smart. Severus I'm sure will surely work to have Harry realize his potential academically. Thanks!
